“New Peking is a delicious new addition to the city of Martinez. Conveniently located right off the Morello Avenue exit, it has quickly become our go-to Chinese restaurant in the area. On our first visit, we tried the crab rangoon, beef chow fun, and steamed dumplings, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of each dish.

Tonight, we ordered the beef with scallion, shrimp fried rice, chicken chow fun, and the beef scallion wrap. The portions were generous, everything was delicious, and nothing disappointed. The new owners are also very kind and welcoming.

We will definitely be back!“

“While they're known for their matcha smoothies, they also have some great food options such as their pork belly rice and their croffle sandwiches.

Note that the food can take a while to make as most people order drinks, but it is prepared with much care.

There are a few dining tables inside, but there are also picnic benches outside. Ordering is done on a kiosk and they provide trays for the compostable tableware.“

“Surprisingly really good food! I bought a poke bowl and it was really good, probably the best poke I’ve had in the Bay Area! I have tried every restaurant at the Sunvalley mall (most are meh mall food) and this was the last one I haven’t tried (I’ve been putting it off as mall poke doesn’t sound that appealing) but this is probably my favorite food I’ve tried in the mall as well as the healthiest. I come to the mall once a month and I will definitely be back to buy another poke bowl.I definitely recommend for anyone that enjoys sushi.
