Our first time at Sal's and we were definitely happy and satisfied with the service and the food was great. The kids finished everything on their plates, and so did my boyfriend and myself. We definitely will comeback and recommend trying this cute little place in Martinez.

Was looking for waffles in the area when I came across this place. When I saw Bacon waffle on the menu I knew I had to try it. It was basic but so good! Other items looked good as well. Will have to go back to try the other options. staff was friendly and place looked busy.
I ordered here a couple of times when I was in my ordering too often on grub hub phase and it was a breakfast favorite. It's like an upscale version of Denny's but with Denny's prices. I've never been to the actual restaurant but it was in a nice location off of Main St. in Martinez., definitely worth a try if you're a breakfast-lover. They had a decent lunch menu as well but check hours carefully before you head over.

I wanted to like this place so much. We love supporting small businesses. But my experience was disappointing.I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese. I was brought fried eggs. I mentioned the error, and about ten minutes later I was brought a plate with a pile of chopped fried eggs with cheese. We were out of time so I didn't ask for another redo.When I mentioned the second error with my eggs when asking for the bill, I got a vague "ok" in reply. The bill came without any sort of discount or explanation.I paid and left. We will not be returning.

My husband and I have been to this business two or three times now. It never seems overly crowded or loud which I really love. It's even quiet enough that you can have a decent conversation with anyone you're with or around you. The ladies that seat you, take your order, and serve the food are also quite pleasant and when we were there on Valentine's Day, I was having a somewhat difficult time choosing between two dishes so I asked our waitress and she was able to help me quickly and didn't seem to mind doing so. My husband and I always enjoy the food here and we even ordered a dessert-type item this time around. They're called Funnel Fries which were strips of fried funnel cake dough dusted with powdered sugar and served with both a caramel and a chocolate sauce on the side. I highly recommend trying the breakfast here.

Feels like home. Run by a family, so sometimes there's one of their little kids running around but I appericiate the authenticity. Food is really good, everything is clean and the prices are decent. Service is standard, but you won't be waiting around feeling like nobody is paying attention to you. Love this place, please don't ever leave!

Stopping in on a weekday for some brunch.Bacon good. Sandwich splendid. Fries delicious. Eggs mmmm need some help.Staff - absolutely amazing an spot on with service.Food an Price - Epic prices and good size plates.Very sunny with little to no shade outside. The inside could use some sprucing up. As well as the bathrooms. But it doesn’t deter us from coming back.Will be back!Kid-friendliness: Kids cup, Coloring page an crayons! Always a win!
