“I was slightly disappointed with the small amount of raw coconut flakes sprinkled on my bowl. I even took a photo of it; you can check it out yourself! Haha. But overall, it was still a yummy treat.I ordered a medium-sized bowl with the following bases: pitaya (dragon fruit), acai, chia pudding, and blue Majik. However, the blue Majik didn't have much taste, or there wasn't enough of it to get a sense of its flavor. But, the toppings I got were amazing! I added some cacao nibs, almond granola, and raw coconut (again, not enough), which made the bowl taste even better. I also really like that the acai is not overly sweet.There is no indoor seating available, only outdoor seating which is located beside the parking area that is shared with other restaurants.“

“Absolutely love this place. First place that introduced me to Bionico, when I lived in the neighborhood. Also same spot that taught me to look for fresh juice at these places. I was a transplant from PNW at the time so I was clueless. It's been at least a decade since last time I lived in HP and the owner still recognizes me. Even with all the neighborhood changes, their bionico and juices are still super fresh and good. Glad to see they are still here and thriving.“
“Was looking for a local healthy place to stop by for lunch and tired of the usual Simply Salad menu when I stumbled upon this place on google. Based on the reviews I decided to stop by. I am so glad that I did. The moment I walked in we were greeted like we were the Obamas! The owner spoke to us as we walked up to the counter, explained the menu items to us, and gave us samples. He was very personable in a way that felt like I was talking to someone who not only cared deeply for his business but us as his customers. The menu is large but not overwhelming. It’s just enough so that you try something and have something else in mind that you want to try the next time. Our salads were fresh, the dressings were unique, & DONT GET ME STARTED ON THAT CLAM CHOWDER. If I wasn’t trying so hard to unbig my back I would have gotten the stuffed bake potato. I will definitely be back and recommending this place to everyone I know. I wish I took a stack of their business cards, I would be passing them out everywhere lol“

“I used to frequent Bambu growing up and all the ones in my area closed. I saw this spot next to the restaurant I was having dinner at and knew I was going to be getting dessert from here. If I just hadn't had a pasta dinner, I would have ordered a Chewy Pandan but I knew that would be too filling so I opted for the Jelly Coco. The Jelly Coco is coconut water based instead of coconut milk so it's more refreshing and lighter. It fruits (coconut, lychee, longan) and fun pandan and basil seed bits. I enjoyed my drink and would definitely be returning to try the Chewy Pandan. Service was quick! We were there arounf 30 minutes before closing and although there were a few people who ordered ahead of us, we still got our drinks fairly quick. The inside has very few seating so I would'nt hangout there for too long.“
“I have been coming to the shop since I was a teenager and I can't believe I didn't write a review sooner. Iove their tortas, they are made with so much love & presented with perfection. The meat is tender and juicy always. My mom also loves them, she says they remind her of ones she had growing up in Mexico. They sell plenty of delicious options as well. Ranging from ice cream, nachos, smoothies etc. If you're ever in Boyle Heights I highly recommend it's definitely a gem & it will forever be my favorite place to grab a torta. “Haven't visited here after the change in ownership so decided to give it a try. Came on a weekday mid-morning so it was quiet and empty inside. The owner was friendly and greeted us. We got the mango yogurt ($5.49) and large jasmine green milk tea ($4.45). Both were half sugar. Large size is 24 oz and regular is 12 oz. Their drinks are much cheaper compared to other boba spots that charge from $5+ just for a milk tea. Both drinks tasted good. The mango yogurt tasted more like mango- couldn't really taste the yogurt component. The jasmine milk tea was decent too, not sure what the thick foam in top was. Maybe the creamer? But both drinks still were drinkable and I would come back to support this small business when I crave a cheap drink.“

“Was craving fruit tea after the 626 market and found this spot on the map!I tried the house fruit tea with lychee jelly and no sugar and my boyfriend got a mango latte with boba and 50% sweetness. Both were honestly so good!! The mango latte was creamy and sweet and my house fruit was such a nice blend of fruit - it had pieces of strawberries, passion fruit seeds, and slices of lemon and lime. It's cute and cozy in here and there are some good restaurants in this shopping center. And the staff are friendly and helpful right when you walk in. They also do a weekly raffle for boba plushies!“
“Excellent donuts here! Just stopped by on a whim and we were very impressed! I had a chocolate twist and my husband got the glazed twist. Both were so excellent that we wouldn't share with each other because we couldn't bear not finishing what we started.... Both donuts were warm and extremely fresh!! The chocolate icing was perfect; not overpowering but very complimentary to the donut that was so flavorful, I could have eaten it plain and still enjoyed it just as much! And it was delicious! It has a hint of spice and it was full of avocado. The side salad it came with comprised of mixed greens, a few croutons, and a raspberry vinaigrette. The dressing wasn't too sweet. I thought the portions were just right.The fruit parfait was amazing! It had various fruits topped with my choice of yogurt and honey (there are 4 combinations of toppings to choose from on DoorDash). I like to end my meals on a slightly sweet note and this parfait did just that.The meal was made pretty quickly considering Google showed that they were very busy and it was delivered on time. You can get a small for $9.95 or a large for $11.95. The small is enough to fill me up after all of the toppings. You start by choosing your base - I opt for either a mixture of açaí and coconut or mango, but there are so many other options too! This is something I haven't seen at other açaí bowl places. Also, they have a wide selection of granola, fruit, and toppings like mochi, coconut, peanut butter, almond butter, honey, etc. Service is consistently solid. A super nice lady whom I believe is the owner is always super welcoming. Overall, a great place to grab a healthy and budget friendly snack!“

This had a decent flavor to it, no cheap syrupy after taste that you may find in other shops. The sweetness is fine as well, not overtly sweet. The egg waffle is plan and akin to a style from Hong Kong. However, the taste was rather plain. A decent pairing with a sweet drink, but overall it was a bit disappointing. Overall, Chami has se good milk tea, but I think the egg waffles are more of a novelty.“
