“First time at Bistro....we have read mixed reviews but wanted to check it out. We were delighted. Preston greeted us at hostess station and sat us. He was also our waiter and server. Great job! Preston reviewed their menu and beverage list. He took our order and answered all our questions. We ordered drinks, appetizer and entrees. Everything was delicious. We will go back. We ordered calamari as an appetizer. This was good. My husband had the Crazy pasta and loved it. I had the Chicken Picccata. It was fork tender and lemony. Side salad was perfect size and balsamic vinaigrette was good. We both finished our meals...nothing to take home. Service was good and staff personable. Thank you for a great meal out. 👍☮️“

“By far my favorite place to eat on campus, if not in all of Palo Alto. For how affordable it is, the quantity and quality of food you get is unparalleled. My favorite items are the chicken burrito bowl, the Aztec salad, and the pastrami banh mi, all of which are between $11 and $12 after tax. Oftentimes, one burrito bowl will last me lunch and dinner. The staff is great and incredibly efficient. When you order a burrito bowl, you will literally get it 20 seconds later.
Vegetarian options: You can customize any menu item to be vegetarian“

“The food is not pre-made, and it's freshly made, they have a variety of pastas and good salads. They also have appetizers, cocktails🍸 and good wines 🍷“
“The location was interesting. It was not easy to get into all the time. Most of the time, we had to do a u-turn to get into the driveway. Convenience wise, the location was great. There was a Starbucks and food within walking distance. Costco was across the street. The room was clean, comfortable and very spacious. The only strange thing about the room was the placement of the television relative to the bed. Most hotels have the television at the foot of the bed. The television was placed on the side of the bed. The layout of the furniture lent itself to the spacious feel of the room, though. I love hotels where the sink is outside the bathroom. You can get ready for bed or going out while someone is either taking a shower or using the toilet. The only issue I had was the toilet paper holder. Because it was loose, the toilet paper kept on falling when we tried to put any pressure on the roll. The staff was polite and helpful. We were given a parking permit, but there is no parking fee. There was plenty of parking. We were able to park close to our room, which is unusual. I would definitely stay here agin.“
“I'm so glad we made it in for happy hour! Bar snacks and specialty cocktails all 50% off! What a steal! We shared the Grilled Octopus, Tostones with a delicious Mojo Verde Sauce, and the beef Tallow French fries. They have a beautiful courtyard where we enjoyed the Whiskey Ginger Cove and Sweet & Smokey cocktail. Cocktails and food were full of flavor and perfect for the evening. Thank you to the bartender for the recommendations! We decided to stay for dinner and their 28 Day Dry Aged Ribeye did not disappoint! Highly recommend if you decide to dine here! My date had the Cabaña burger with French fries. Both cooked perfectly medium rare. Will definitely be back!“

“Bistro Vida is the friendliest place with excellent service and delicious menu choices. We had a great table outside on a beautiful day for our family brunch on Easter. The salmon fume tartine was exquisite and we would highly recommended it. The lamb was also exceptionally delicious and tasty. We enjoyed the charcuteries platter and nice mimosas and cafe lattes. If you're ever dining at Bistro Vida and they have the Carrot Ginger soup on their menu, don't hesitate as it is the very best surprise! It always feels warm and welcoming at Bistro Vida, and we're always pleased with the experience!“
