Fantastic food , drink and atmosphere! I love supporting a sustainable woman run business. Nicest people. Such an addition to our community!

Great coffee and pastries! Plenty of lovely outdoor seating available too. Since it's located inside the Park James hotel, parking is a little tricky but there's plenty of street parking right behind the hotel at the intersection of San Antonio Street and Glenwood Avenue. Suggested areas for improvement: - No signage for the cafe when you enter the hotel lobby - Menu board placement. Can't see the drinks menu when you're ordering and paper menus at the register only had the food menu - $10 for a croissant (whether plain or flavored) is a little steep. Don't get me wrong, my almond croissant was freakin delicious, but I only got it cuz I was treating myself

I'm honestly surprised by the reviews because I had a great experience. We ordered the dark chocolate orange mocha with oat milk, the chocolate almond smoothie bowl, and a ham and cheese croissant. The smoothie bowl was super tasty and the serving size was generous - I split it with my kid. I love the orange zest on the mocha and thought it was super tasty. They offered to warm up the croissant and it was also good. I like that you can sit inside or outside at the large Oak & Violet patio or the smaller side patio. We met the owner and she was super sweet. Will 100% be back to try more menu items.

Inside area is pretty, but outside area is shabby and neglected, with these strange, lumpy beds. The service was surprisingly so-so. The coffee was bitter and lukewarm. A plain croissant will run you $10. It was almost abandoned-looking when I was there, with only one other person who was conducting a loud business meeting on speakerphone on his laptop.

New coffee shop in the area & you know I had to check it out! This shop is inside Park James Hotel. I had to drive around a couple times to find parking as I was unsure where to park. After the third circle I parked a block away and walked up. Not sure if the valet works just for coffee. Worth a try next time. I saw a sign by a brown gate and tried to enter that way and it was locked. I entered through the main lobby of the hotel and was greeted warmly by the man up front. I asked him for the coffee shop and he pointed me deeper into the building on my right. I walked in and there was a large business meeting going of to the side and scattered groups around the area. I walked up and asked where to order and the man lead the way and offered the drink and food menu. I decided to go for a Cortado, Dark Chocolate Orange Mocha, and a chocolate croissant. I requested to have the Cortado and croissant there and the other drink to go. A Latina lady began on my Cortado and the man who took my order brought out my croissant and coffee shortly after. The Cortado was boiling hot. I didn't anticipate this so I took a big sip. I instantly felt my tongue burn. I tried to swirl it to cool it down but was unsuccessful. The chocolate croissant was very dense, cold, and hard. Once my last drink was ready I left. The Dark Orange Mocha was completed by the man who took my order and the temperature was drinkable. The orange zest on top of the drink was fragrant. I expected the flavors to combine well but instead the texture of the drink through me off. It was like a grainy texture and not a smooth drink. I was not a fan of this drink. The space to sit down inside is beautiful and chic. They have an outdoor space as well. The customer service from the man was very good. On the other hand the attention to the temperature of the Cortado should have been better. I would of enjoyed the Cortado more had it not been so hot. I spent about 3 days with a burnt tongue. Definitely not a fan of that! Parking was frustrating and it's easy to miss the hotel if you aren't paying attention.
