Our first time here—why did we wait so long?? Authentic food, generous portions, great value. We ordered seaweed+tofu soup, spinach stir-fry, combo chow fun, sichuan style eggplant. Each dish could serve 4-6, and there were just two of us. Live + learn. The soup came first. “Small size,” but we ate less than half of it. The seaweed was of a kind my mom used in her soup on new year’s day. The broth was lovely. Noodles were also present. The eggplant wasn’t overly hot, which was great. Plenty of flavor. The noodles were thankfully not overly salty. Plenty of veggies as well as chicken pork shrimp. Delicious. Spincah came last; very generous, as were all dishes. Subtle flavor and not excessively salty (unlike many other restaurants). Will definitely be back

This is the most unpleasant experience I had in Bay Area. The pork stomach is super dry and has black exterior, it must be frozen and reheated multiple times. That dish was barely touched in the night.
We also ordered pork & shrimp wonton soup for the kids, but the wonton has full of dough and no sign for pork and shrimp. It is even much worse than the frozen ones from 99 ranch.
Other food is spicy and definitely not authentic Chinese food.
People may say the cook might not be skillful. But cooking the wonton like this and serving the pork stomach that feels to be frozen for month, I would say the owner lacks of ethics.

Great value; you will not be disappointed with the portions!! Good for vegetarian. Flavor is nice and not too salty with a wide variety of options. My favorite is the spicy cabbage. Definitely the best Chinese food in Menlo Park.

This is a very economic and good place in Menlo Park! Huge portions and tasty authentic Chinese food. The service and ambient is great. Again, you would be surprised by how large the dishes are

The food was unbelievably awful for a restaurant that's been in business for a while. I have never heard great things until recently when a friend recommended I give them a shot. The pork fried rice was mushy and bland and the vegetables were tiny and there weren't many. The sesame chicken was also mushy and tasted old and like the sauce was over re heated. The green beans and pork with black bean sauce was, by far, the worst out of the three. The sauce was definitely old, extremely over reduced, inedibly salty (I don't know that I've ever tasted a more over salted dish in my 55 years alive) and had a foul flavor to it. I was astonished at the absolute terrible flavor of my entire meal. It actually looked okay, except for the green beans and pork, which looks like it had been on the bottom of a pot for hours. Unfortunately, I accidentally left good reviews on my Uber Eats order because I didn't have my glasses on and thought I was rating my delivery person. I will never eat at Fay again and I don't recommend you do either.
