Don't miss Eggs Benedict with salmon! Great venue for breakfast / brunch gatherings. Modern and fresh interior design, team with great respect to alien traditions - e.g. we gathered with friends (7 ppl) to celebrate Orthodox Easter. Team was almost a part of our celebration, which is so precious! Also, the place is very spacious, wonderful outdoor area for kids' free play. Coffee was very good, classical Verve. Eggs Benedict served with salmon were the best part of my brunch -- sauce hollandaise was not too salty and not too intense, so did not dominate the flavor of the meal itself. Steak could be better. Mimosas were strong, cork popped for us - bubbly and good! Cheers, Porta Blu!

In the end of the day, it’s always the food, service comes a close second. Sadly it’s a fail on both countsPRO:- Convenience of restaurant attached to Hotel Nia- Free coffee until 9AM in front of the restaurant on weekdaysCON:- Food isn’t very good and expensive- You will be treated like rudely if you opt OUT of the 20% automatic tip.- Check your order, they make a lot of mistakes- Fish was severely over cooked- Food is too sweet- Gave me a burnt bagel? I’m know they saw it but did nothing to change itSUMMARY:I ate here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I wouldn’t do it again, even if staying at Hotel Nia and definitely would not seek out to come here. Food is meh, service also as no one acknowledges you when you come in. Too bad, I like the concept

Great restaurant inside a glorious hotel. I had a selection of various entrees and was really pleased (recommend: artichoke arancini, Spanish meatballs, green peppers) and a Wagyu burger with fries on the side. My bourbon based cocktail with pear puree was good but wouldn’t fall over my back. Polite and helpful (albeit a touch animated) staff.

Empty restaurant, more than 4 waiters, and zero service. We got up from the table and went to the bartender to: 1) order drinks 2) pick up the drinks 3) place a food order. The bartender told us our waiter would be there to take our order- we never met him. No check-ins on how the food was, just... no service. Meanwhile, the waiters all stood staring at the TV's, there were someone's slippers under the bar, my date's order was wrong, etc... it was all bad. The hotel rooms and grounds are beautiful but this restaurant's staff needs a huge refresh on customer service.

I came here for a birthday dinner about 2 months ago for a friend. We were a party of about 20 with reservations so we were seated immediately. Our server was great, very attentive but maybe a little overwhelmed. He did great regardless. There weren't many people in the restaurant and it's a beautiful restaurant. The food was fine. It wasn't spectacular but definitely decent . I had the spaghetti which could have used a bit more spices. My friend has salmon and enjoyed it but agreed that it could have been better. I would come back again as the prices were good too.

I routinely stay at the hotel Nia and this is the hotel restaurant, which is surprisingly good, if a bit over-priced. Still having a good restaurant in the hotel to do dinner at when you're getting home after a long day is definitely appreciated. My two go to dishes are the pan-seared salmon and the burger. I occasionally also get the squid-ink spaghetti with scallops as well. The salmon is usually my go-to and it's always well cooked with crispy outside, but tender inside. I really like the black lentil salad with the mustard sauce. The contrast of the strong, tangy mustard, salmon and lentils really works. The burger is much more traditional, but still great. It's got the artisanal bun, rich patty, and the toppings you'd expect along with a nice side of crispy fries. Definitely filling and also somewhat more sanely priced. I don't like the spaghetti with scallops as much as the others, but it's good for a break. It just doesn't stand out as much as the others. When eating with a few more people, I often like to get the blistered peppers and really enjoy them. They're not really spicy, which is a good and a bad thing, but super yummy with a bit of smoke, a tiny bit of heat and a lot of salt. The drinks are good as well. The cocktails are better than the beer selection. You can usually get a dry cocktail that's really good. The apple scotch sour is my go-to, but the spiced old fashioned is also good. I'm usually more of a beer than a cocktail person, but the beer selection here is just OK. They have a few local things, but nothing that stands out and they don't rotate them much. Also, it's definitely not a beer bar and you'll have to ask pointedly to find out more than the brewery and style, e.g., if you want to know exactly which the IPAs that the brewery makes you're drinking.

This place has great potential. The ambience is lovely and cozy. The food was delicious except for a couple of minor things, but the service is awful. The staff is super nice, but completely inattentive. As for the valet situation, if you stay more than 3 hours, then you must pay $30 which is easy to do - see awful service. I hope they can make some adjustments as this place could easily be a hidden gem. I may or may not go back, as I am a local (even more reason to make some adjustments) and I would recommend this place with strong caution about the service.

The place is nice but the food is not worth the price, we order the burguer and the octopus but is below average, the cocktails are

Don't go here when it's busy lol. I've been here many times where it worked but this visit was disappointing. Servers were overwhelmed and confused and all orders took super long to receive while the manager was more concerned with keeping our party waiting at the door than managing the flow of operations. Again, I've been here when it works and was surprised they were unable to manage the busy night. Foods pretty good though and the setting is nice.

A pet peeve of mine is when restaurants tack on a mandatory tip (20%) when service is lackluster. Unfortunately, that was our experience when dining here for brunch recently. It wasn't crowded and I watched the only other occupied table have their waters refilled while ours were empty. After our food was delivered, no one came to check on us or see if we needed anything. We did enjoy the food (grilled cheese, fries and breakfast sandwich) and the decor/environment was beautiful. With rising food prices and mandatory tips we'd rather go elsewhere with more attentive service.

My husband and I enjoyed dinner here very much. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was very nice. We ordered the aged rib eye with mashed potatoes and the steak frites. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. We shared a Ceasar salad, which was good, though a bit heavy on the lemon in the dressing. In the morning, we enjoyed breakfast and ordered the eggs benedict; the Hollandaise sauce tasted of too much lemon as well. Everything else was fantastic. We will be back for another dinner and breakfast.

Came here a couple times for group dinner. Great ambiance and nice decoration. Food service can be sometimes slow depending on how busy it is.

Decent food. Its near the hotel, which makes it quite convenient. And I think that is the main factor for those who are staying here
