Visited on a weekend to try their roll cakes—specifically the black sesame and Hojicha flavors. The sponge was soft and moist, which I really appreciated. However, the sweetness was quite overpowering and tended to mask the subtle flavors of both the cream and the sponge. It was a bit too sweet for my taste.

My friend introduced me to temp & time and I immediately fell in love. They serve high quality matcha that is similar to Japan. This place is one of my top favorite locations to get a matcha latte!
I have ordered the matcha latte and hojicha latte with 25% sweet and oat milk.
Their basque cheesecakes are exceptional and addictive! My fav is the hojicha flavor.
The price point is within the average range.
The downside is that parking is extremely difficult in the plaza, so you have to find street parking.

5/5 for the matcha! really yummy strawberry matcha latte. Perfect sweetness for less sweet. It was also a lot bigger than I expected it to be, but makes sense for the price.
4.5/5 for other things: if you miss the parking lot you have to either find street parking or go all the way around to park again, but not too annoying. It was also a bit hot inside, didn’t feel like there was AC on.
Otherwise great new spot in Menlo!

⭐ The amazing roll cakes previously in Millbrae are back in Menlo Park! ⭐
Food: I saw an IG reel and the roll cakes looked soooo familiar I just had to check them out to confirm my hunch! (And if I was wrong, I'm still getting cake. WIN WIN.) I went a bit before closing and got their hojicha roll cakes, matcha roll cake, chrysanthemum tea, and jasmine tea. The roll cakes were light and fluffy, while the cream filling was just the right amount of sweetness. The flavored fillings each had a strong tea flavor that balanced everything out nicely. The teas were standard and I might opt for less sugar next time.
Service: You order through a tablet, but they prepped our drinks and cakes quickly. They bring it out when it's ready, and the staff chatted with us about their previous location.
Atmosphere: It's a beautiful and cozy cafe. It's an overall small space, so I recommend getting take out or don't linger too long to give other patrons a chance to enjoy the space.
Parking: The entrance to the parking area is easy to miss and the driveway is a bit steep. I didn't see how many spots were available, and I think they share a lot with Drunken Monk. I opted to find street parking in one of the quieter streets nearby.

I've been to Temp and Time twice; the first time by chance, and the second time by choice. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful the desserts are. While everything is superb, the custard offering is the true star. It's the most amazing, well-balanced dessert for those days when you want to eat something delicious to lift your mood. We went there to celebrate my birthday on a rainy morning, and it's a core memory now. Parking can be a challenge, but hey, walking through Menlo Park is fun!
This place is so beautiful, chic and modern. Plus, the soft Kpop music really makes me feel like I’ve landed in a Kdrama.
The basque cheesecake is the best I’ve had in my life too!
The drinks are delicious, though way more sweet than I’d like. I’m going to be a regular for sure.

@tempandtimecafe is serving the cutest roll cakes and delicious basque cheesecake to pair with their refreshing drinks. The aesthetic was so comforting and we really enjoyed our desserts. Especially the Biscoff roll cake and matcha latte. Drinks were sweetened perfectly and the cakes were all fluffy and moist. We can’t wait to come back to try the other flavors! 😋

Cute dessert cafe located in Palo Alto/Menlo Park! They have delicious roll cakes and they are not too sweet, I loved it. Service was very nice, manager/owner provided us complimentary roll cake to try it out. I liked they had hibiscus tea on the menu. Definitely will come back soon again! And the price was really resonable!
