WOW! What an underrated gem. The cake rolls are heavenly and to die for. I ordered the black sesame cake roll and the batter was so spongy and creamy. I loved the jelly pudding filling in the middle too. My matcha latte was also perfection. Definitely not as popular as it should be. Will absolutely be back to try more cake roll flavors.
My favorite place for matcha lattes now. The strawberry matcha latte doesn’t have as many strawberry bits as Izumi matcha’s, but the matcha latte tastes more like the ones we had in Japan.
The drink is obscenely expensive but it is large. The matcha powder itself is not quite grassy but also not really umami and definitely not a naturally sweet matcha. The desserts look delicious but the price point is high enough to make it unjustifiable.
The interior is super cute even if small. I didn’t think there was WiFi (or at least if there is it’s not advertised at all) and parking is an absolute nightmare in their lot — if you can even call it...
