This restaurant is a pretty damn good place. I've never really had sushi before but this place gave me one of the best first impressions possible. The staff were exceptionally friendly and respectful.The long wait was definitely worth in it because the food was simply amazing.

The food is really good. The tempura is amazing! My only complaint is that the side order of shrimp tempura…is one shrimp tempura, thought it would be at least 2 pieces.

My dad took me here for dinner last night since we were both in the mood for sushi, and it was really good. We tried the chef choice sashimi (different but really good!), rainbow roll, and california roll. I'd recommend this place 100%. Reasonable prices. Will come again!

I first discovered the restaurant back in March 2022, and I’ve been coming back since then. The staff is super sweet and attentive. Service is great but sometimes it can take a while for food to come out. The place is spacious, always very clean and welcoming.I’ve tried a few appetizers. Among my favorites are their Spicy Gyoza. They are crispy and flavorful. The layer of sauce is sweet and spicy. It’s a really tasty appetizer, and I always get it when I go.A dish I’ve tried and loved is their Baked Spicy Volcano Sushi Roll. It comes with imitation crab, avocado, scallops and a special spicy sauce. There are many layers of flavor and texture in this roll. The sauce that they use is sweet & spicy, which compliments the scallops and imitation crab deliciously well. I recommend this one, specially if your like scallops. I have also tried their Baked Salmon Roll. It comes with cream cheese, imitation crab, avocado and topped with salmon. It’s topped with a sweet and salty sauce. The salmon literally melts in your mouth, and the sauce adds all the flavor. The cream cheese balances everything. Portions are small/medium overall.Another one of my favorite dishes is their Grilled Short Rib. It comes with a side of rice and a salad. The meat is always cooked well. It’s juicy, tender and well marinated. This is the one meal that is large and always very filling. I recommend it. Another one of their Grilled dishes I’ve recently tried is their Grilled Spicy Calamari. It comes with a side of rice and salad as well. In my opinion, this dish was not as flavorful as I expected. The calamari was cooked well, but lacked flavor. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you really like calamari.Strengths: Delicious meals, kind staff, plenty of parking, spacious, clean and welcoming restaurant.Challenges: Wait may be longer than usual, portions are small/medium overall

Me and my husband came here right when they opened for lunch on a Wednesday. Food is great. Not too crowded at this time. Would come here again. There is a sign that’s says they won’t be seating anyone 30mins before closing, so plan ahead!

This was one of the best sushi experiences I’ve ever had. We got the spicy tuna roll which was so good, like that the sauce isn’t super thick. Also the don katsu and that was the best I’ve had. No complaints! Everyone was so friendly and greeted us when we came in. A little pricey but that’s to be expected when it’s good food! Rather eat here than drive to Modesto for good sushi!

I just discovered this place and I love it!! The workers there were all so sweet and the food was excellent! I ordered the bbq beef ribs and the tempura shrimp roll. Also, this place is really cute inside! Definitely a must try!!!
