I stopped by Jantz after receiving a free pie coupon at the Children’s Summit for First 5 Merced County, and I’m so glad I did! I ordered a vanilla iced latte, snickerdoodle cookies, and a pumpkin scone. Since Starbucks discontinued their pumpkin scone, I’ve been searching for a replacement, and Jantz’s version is actually better! I ordered an order to go. I got my usual all meat omelette with potatoes and toast. I was disappointed when I got home and there was no jam for my toast, no salsa for my omelette and no ketchup for the potatoes. Overall the food was excellent like usual.
Where can you find apricot pie? They have it and it's delicious! The apricots come from a local source. Merced is my homertown. Every time I visit relatives I buy a whole apricot pie at Jantz.
