Sushi Cuisine is a restaurant known for its good service, despite occasionally being short-staffed. The nigiri sushi is said to be the biggest in Merced and reasonably priced, while the fish is noted for its freshness. Although the restaurant isn’t fancy, it offers a quiet atmosphere reminiscent of an old Ramen shop in a bustling Japanese city, with friendly and delightful servers. Parking can be a challenge on busy nights, but there is ample room in the lot shared with other businesses. Despite the minor issues, Sushi Cuisine is widely considered one of the best sushi places in Merced, and customers continuously look forward to returning.
