“Still the best açaí bowl I’ve ever had. I live nearby so I discovered it by random chance, but recently I’ve been trying açaí at other places around the city/while traveling out of town and nothing has come close despite me wanting to find something that comes close. The staff is so friendly too and they always bring it out super fast. The açaí base has the best texture (maybe they sweeten it maybe they mix in banana or cream but I personally am not looking for 100% açaí so I wouldn’t mind if they were) and the nut butters and granola are amazing.“
“Wow - awesome food, great prices and amazing staff! First time visit and first time in SF in 29 yrs. I don't have any photos because I ate it all! They even gave me hot water etc. for my tea since they didn't have English breakfast teabags!“
“Yummy. Delicious and great service.“

“Acai bowls are really tasty, although kind of expensive. That's SF for you! The ingredients seem high quality and the portions are generous so it's worth it as a treat. It would be nice if they have a couple small tables instead of no seating, but we typically take our bowls to duboce park. The guy who almost always seems to be working there is friendly, which I appreciate.
Vegetarian options: It's all smoothies and juices so unless there are any super surprises it should all be vegetarian and probably mostly vegan
Kid-friendliness: No kids menu, do your kids like smoothies and acai?“
“I am from Brazil and a frequent visitor to Padoca. The service is top-notch, and the coxinhas, esfihas, and pastries are always delicious. The cheese bread reminds me of the cheese bread from Minas Gerais; everything is simply delightful. They are very authentic!
I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to relive a taste of Brazil or learn about some Brazilian foods/ snacks. Not to mention the brigadeiros (chocolate treat), which are excellent! (coming from a brigadeiro addict).
Our American friends love the cheese bread (pão de queijo), cheese pastel, coxinhas, overall pastries, and of course, açaí, guaraná , or coffee.“
“Absolutely love Better Than Sweet! Large portions and great prices. Lots of different smoothie, acai bowl, and food options. Very friendly staff, clean, and some nice seating inside and outside. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the neighborhood! My fav smoothie/acai bowl place in the city 🥭🩷🍓“

“Got the Da Kine Greens which was full of flavor and healthiness and kale. While it was also a million dollars, being in this pseudo-hippie town full of reclusive wealthy people, it still was worth the snack. Would stop by again if back to charming Bolinas.5 stars!!!“

“I love their poké and Açaí bowls. Food is fresh and organic. Their juice shots are potent!“

“The best açaí bowls I’ve ever had. They also put granola on the bottom and top which is a nice detail so you don’t have straight açaí at the end.
Dietary restrictions: It’s all vegan
Parking: There’s a big parking lot next to it and there’s usually street parking that’s free“

“OMG we just had it for the first time today and it was DELICIOUS! My husband, son, and I created and built our own bowls and our daughter got a smoothie. We LOVED ALL OF IT! The girls in the Livermore, CA location were all so sweet and kind!“

“Love that they don’t add sugar to their bowls. They also use fresh spinach for the green bowl (my favorite). You can see the bits inside it in the picture attached and I have watched them make it. They have always gotten my order correct, when I ask for all the sugary topping to be removed, like granola and honey and the nice man who works there always checks if I still want the coconut flakes added. Their app isn’t that great and the rewards system doesn’t make sense to me but I always stop by whenever I’m in the Marina for a refreshing spinach coconut probiotic green bowl, which is a bit pricey at $14 but I like the quality.“

“I came in yesterday for the first time. Nobody else there. I made a remark about being there for the first time. She all but rolled her eyes. Okay. I’ll put her down as unenthusiastic about her job as I probably would be. The bowl I got was good. Prices are crazy but I think that every time I eat.“
