Avatar's Punjabi Burritos

Had a gf vegan plate and a vegan burrito. The spinach today and pumpkin options were both very good. The fresh burrito man wrap grilling was perfect along with assembly of all the contents for consistent flavor and spice.

There were no obvious vegan options on the menu, but based on the previous Happy Cow review, I just asked for two "vegan pumpkin burritos" and they were made to order. They do have a sign saying that they can accommodate dairy-free, oil-free, gluten-free etc upon request. The burritos were very tasty and flavourful. Note that they only take cash (Venmo may also be an option); we had to leave and come back with cash.

Good food but they have zero interest in customer service. They are cash only and they take venmo but they don’t even know their venmo handle. It’s pretty pathetic

Teeny little family restaurant with a simple menu. Smelled great and we were not disappointed. I was heartened to find a place like this in Mill Valley. Super reasonable price for the location ($13-$15 for an entree). I will say I didn't think the mango lassi was worth it.

Dietary restrictions: According to the menu, they can accommodate requests for: dairy free gluten free, and low fat / less oil. There was one other but I forget.

Burrito was mostly rice, barely any tofu in the tofu burrito. Service was minimal. The tortilla/roti was good, hence 3 stars instead of 2. Flavor was basic. The cashier was in a rush and didn’t offer a legitimate receipt

Yummy and quick! Cash or Venmo only. Loved the pumpkin chicken rice plate. And the bread used on the burrito was so good.

Vegetarian options: DO NOT EAT OVER HERE.? THE TEA TASTED LIKE IT WAS TWO DAYS OLD. THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE … TASTED SOUR …NOTHING ABOUT INDIAN SPICES FOOD AND THE NAME SPELLS “PUNJABI BURRITOS”

Open-mouth cough in the place in between the kitchen and the small dining room. Didn't wash her hands after.

Also, very loud on her speaker phone, while I dine and do some work.

Whenever a friend comes to visit, I recommend Avatar’s Punjabi Burritos! Great options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free (if you get a rice plate). The chutney is delicious too! I often go for a burrito with curried veggie & curried pumpkin but opted for a rice plate with curried veggie & smoked eggplant this time- new favorite! Beautiful presentation & balance of flavors. Saru, who runs this location, is also so friendly and welcoming! I plan to keep coming back here and recommending to friends.

Head’s up: you’ll need cash or venmo to pay. Also the restaurant is tiny so I usually order to go and take food on a hike/picnic. There are 2 tables inside and 1 outside.

Excellent lamb curry with mixed vegetables, two nights in a row. I love all the different flavors on different parts on the dish. A staple every time we visit Marin. Reasonably priced and filling.

Great twist on delicious Indian food! Pieces of chicken were REAL and BIG, though would be nice if cut up into bite sizes ?
