Super inconsistent quality.I’ve had a really great banh mi here, but the one I picked up today was in soft bread that wasn’t hollowed out, with a giant slab of bland tofu and almost no veggies.As much as I love banh mi, I threw it out after the first bite.I don’t like food quality being a coin toss.Not coming back and do not recommend.

Overall a great place for takeout or dine in. Love atmosphere and bar area though I tend to do takeout more than eat in. Service has always been good. Great beer selection including Pliny on tap. Great to get takeout on a nice day and got to the square. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars is sometimes inconsistent food quality. I find some items are more consistent like the bahn miKid-friendliness: Kid bento boxes a great option.

I hope this can be taken as constructive criticism. I really like this place - most of the time. Unfortunately, it seems as if they have two different cooks who don't follow the same recipes. I've been here dozens of times over the years and always enjoyed the same few dishes. On three recent occasions, however, the food I was served bore little resemblance to what I'm accustomed to. It was bland and overcooked.Normally, all cooks at a restaurant follow exactly the same recipes and prepare those recipes in exactly the same way. Boo Koo is like two different restaurants, only it's a coin toss which one you'll wind up at on any given day. I love boo Koo #1 and hate boo Koo #2.

I wanted to like this place as the menu looks so good. The pot stickers were deep fried and drops of oil were clinging to them. We sent them back snd tgry we’re not taken off our bill. The chicken soup had little taste and a funny smell. I had several sips of broth and nothing else. When the wait person took the full bowl away she didn’t even ask what was wrong. The place was a little on the dirty side. On the good side, we had a veg salad that tasted really good. I would not go back.
