It’s probably not fair of me to review a salad restaurant since I’m not the biggest fan of salads…but I will anyway. ;-) The options for non-salad eaters are limited; I never eat there on my own but from time-to time a friend wants to meet there and I’m always disappointed with what feels to me like fast food restaurant ambiance.i do love a friend chicken sandwich from time-to-time, but find theirs to be “meh”.

I had the Hot Mediterranean Bowl at Mixt in Mill Valley, and it was outstanding. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, the portion was generous, and the flavor was amazing. It felt like a super healthy meal that left me satisfied without any guilt afterward. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a clean, delicious option that doesn’t compromise on taste.

Mixt is not suitable for vegetarians. On 3 occasions, I received salads with meat on them, despite modifying to remove it. I really tried to give them opportunities to improve as they are near my house and it’s easy to order on the app and then pick it up.
However, when I reached out to customer service to share my experience, I received a form response with no action plan to address this ongoing issue. It’s clear that Mixt is not in the business of supporting customer dietary restrictions. Very disappointing, especially given the high cost.
Edited: if Mixt has truly made process changes then I invite them to share those changes publicly. The emails I have received so far have been very dismissive and essentially say, we do our best. I’m looking for accountability and an explicit outline of the process and assembly line changes that have been implemented to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

Don't order a salad from the Mill Valley store because they provide only a small amount of salad dressing. My Dasher requested more dressing, but they refused! Why?

I got takeout and it was ready when I arrived; one person who works there smiled at me, so I don't have an issue with service and atmosphere. BUT...look at the difference in the photos of what the bowl is supposed to look like and what it actually looked like! I'm not a big eater, but this was NOT a generous portion, and the taste was just okay. Really disappointed!
