This cute little gift shop and cafe is located onsite, making it a convenient stop for visitors, especially since there isn’t much else close by. The staff is friendly and hard-working, led by General Manager Jonathan, and they do their best to resolve any issues, though they can be overwhelmed at times. While the food is described as "OK," the coffee has received praise as the best during a week in San Francisco, and the turkey chili was noted as very good. Prices are considered expensive, but everything sold seems to be of good quality. Muir Woods Trading Company is recommended for good food, souvenirs, and an excellent view, making it a welcoming place to stop in before and after a hike.
