βOn a tour from San Francisco (shout-out Dylan's Tours!), we had an hour and a half for lunch in Sausalito. We walked over to grab Poke from Gilligans and were NOT disappointed! Got the Spicy Ahi on brown rice, and it was amazing. Rice was tender, fish was fresh, not too spicy. Grabbed drinks from the attached store and walked over to a local park (suggested to us at Gilligans) and had a beautiful lunch. Do not sleep on this spot!β

βThe portions were plentiful and delicious, and the clerk was very friendly. The food was very good as it wasn't very salty. Even though I changed the addition several times, he treated me kindly without his face being distorted once. It was so delicious!! suggestion!!β

βGot the bigger size and though it is a bit pricey, the portion is pretty big. I did however take off a star because the quality of the fish wasnβt the best, some of it looked a little off-color compared to the others but the flavors were good and again the size is big. Lots of different sides as well so that helps having a different bite each timeβ

This place doesnβt look like much from the outside β just a small corner shop. But the food hits way above its weight class.
Got their egg sandwich on a croissant with added ham. Ready in minutes, which was clutch. The croissant was fresh and flaky, the egg and melted cheese were spot-on, but the real standout was their mixed vegetable spread. Whatever they put in there turned a solid breakfast sandwich into something actually memorable.
Iβll definitely be back.β

βThis is by far my favorite poke spot in the city. The fish is always fresh and tasty. Their portions are very tenors as well. I typically order from here at least twice a week. Both owners and their entire staff have always been welcoming and friendly to me. I would highly recommend Pokebola to anyone who's looking to eat delicious poke in SF.β

βThe food here is absolutely delicious - beautifully presented, fresh, interesting. The sushi burritos are great - but the rolls are really special, particularly the Toro Roll. And the beef potsticker are excellent! So thrilled to have this gem in the neighborhood.β

Tip:
I always opt for the salmon (the other fish arenβt as good) and ask for light sauce (otherwise they tend to drench it in way too much sauce.)β

βHi City Poke nails that true island flavor! The owner is from Hawaii and brings all the aloha with him β super friendly, down-to-earth, and clearly passionate about sharing good food.
The poke itself? So ono. Fresh, flavorful, and totally legit. Youβll find classic Hawaiian-style fish alongside βmainlandβ toppings β because, as the owner said, βyou gotta give the city what it wants.β But donβt worry, purists β the foundation is all Hawaii.

βConsistently delicious poke! Not fancy, but always fresh and really fairly priced. I love getting the build-your-own poke bowl, plenty of sauce and flavor without being overwhelming. The spam musubis are all great too (Iβve tried the classic, fried, and spicy). Itβs family-owned and operated, which makes me even happier to support them. Perfect for takeout, though Iβll sometimes dine in for lunch (just note there isnβt a ton of seating).β

βSolid poke place. I like how you check what youβd like to have in your bowl on a little paper sheet like a deli sandwich order. There are lots of good options. Would recommend and go back. Regular bowl size is a sizable portion. Minor details but wasabi is the fake stuff- colored radish probably because it doesnβt taste like actual wasabi- and adding a small scoop of avocado adds $1.25. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
I recommend half rice and half mixed greens as a base- itβs a great mix in my opinion!β

βVery nice place, layed back, steady late lunch crowd, The server Rosario very helpful. The 4 piece shrimp tempura almost a meal in it self. Comes with edamame and a big serving of good Cole slaw. Good Rainbow roll. Very good value for the money. Would come again.β
