Cozy and lots of great pizza options! We went with a group and had the mushroom pizza with vegan cheese, while others ordered regular cheese options. When our server brought out the Brussels sprouts to share, she put the cheese on the side automatically in case we wanted any. She was incredibly thoughtful! We also really enjoyed the cocktail menu and the fireplace was very welcome on a cold day.

We rented out the party room at Tamalpie for our wedding rehearsal dinner, and it was a big hit! Food was fantastic and our server/showrunner (Josh?) was amazing and kept everything moving at a good pace.
We had one large hiccup that was almost catastrophic, as our booking was almost LOST during a turnover of the restaurants manager, which honestly was shocking -- however that is not reflected in my rating as I don't believe that to be the fault of the restaurant as it is now. Just be sure to double/triple check reservations if you have made them far in advance!
I'm also taking 1 star off for atmosphere because although the decor and atmosphere of the main dining areas are fantastic, the party room in the back is quite barren/industrial by itself, so plan on decorating if that's not your vibe!

Would give Tamalpie 10 stars out of 5 if I could - this place is seriously incredible! The food was impeccable (we got appetizers, main dishes, and dessert) and WOW. We were blown away with each one. Incredibly kind and friendly staff! Our server Oscar G. went above and beyond and was so good to us. We are so grateful we came and will definitely be back time and time again. So impressed.

‘Twas earlier in the day but my local fam decided to show off some good eats. The pizza was good and healthier options exist! Their beer had local and non-local, which left much to explore. The pasta was delicious and the appetizers were very appetite opening.

I cannot deny the food is great, but there is no justifying paying $26 for an average plate of pasta with meatballs that feeds a single person and almost $60 for your average large pizza. Was once a local favorite… prices are now unreasonable
I’ve been here a couple times with my family, but I don’t think we’ll be coming back. Their vegetarian options are really limited. We ordered a daily special pizza without bacon, and the waiter made an annoying joke saying we were ordering it “without flavor.” When the pizza finally came to our table, it was covered in bacon. We had to wait another 10-15 minutes for the pizza we wanted and when we tried jt, it was lackluster and just wasn’t worth the wait. There are pizza restaurants in Mill Valley that serve delicious vegetarian pizzas and won’t inappropriately comment on your dietary boundaries. I don’t have any reason to come back here.
Kid-friendliness: They have a separate kids menu and provided crayons for our kids
