We went by today and Bao Bao House is no longer in business. New business going in soon.

This place is adequate. I've definitely had A LOT better chinese food but I still thought this place is decent. I came here with my family and we decided to stumble upon this small little chinese cafe along the way. For starters, I definitely would of given this place one more star if it wasn't for the slow service. Literally the waiters were just on their phones majority of the time and we had to wait until they actually looked at us. It was practically just us in the cafe so yeno, I thought the service would be a little more accommodating and fast. But they're nice though so I guess it kinda makes for that. The first dish we got was the rice noodles congee. It wasn't anything special to be honest. The noodles were lowkey kinda firm but the little garnishes on the mini plates made the dish better. The chonqing spicy chicken was so so oily. I mean it was still decent but I just felt overwhelmed with all the fattiness oozing from it. And lastly, the baos were probably the best ones. I thought the flavors were good, and it was definitely a different style since I normally don't see meat baos constructed like that! So I thought that was pretty unique. But overall, I may come back, probably with family, but if I were to come by myself with friends, I probably wouldn't. Food could of been better and service should of been so much better if the waiters paid more attention to their customers.

Love this spot. I'm always shocked it isn't more busy. The service is quick and good and the food is excellent! Great menu items from the more traditional chinese plates to some more unique items. My favorites are the baos (buns). The pork belly and the fried chicken are both amazing. I also got the butterfly lemonade and it is gorgeous, but a but too syrupy for me. Makes for great pictures though! The chicken wings are also fantastic!

Thumbs up to their BaoBao. We ordered the pork belly BaoBao. Cripsy pork belly with the soft bun and veggie, giving you a mixed texture when you bite in.

Service was alright, however, the food was mediocre. We ordered the Duck Jianbing, which only 2 of the 4 slices had actual duck in it.

General tso's chicken was the worst dish we ordered. They even forgot our orders and we had to remind them to make it; they were just standing around talking instead of cooking our food. There was only 1 other table besides us at the time. So the chicken was terrible; it was mostly just fried batter instead of chicken. When it was chicken, it was really tough. It was not a good dish at all. I found the eggplant to be the only good part of the eggplant string bean potato dish. The string beans were a bit mushy and tough, and the potato was not very tasty either. The salt and pepper fried fish was okay, felt pretty standard. Not too bad. The cauliflower smoked pork dish was probably the best out of the bunch. Plenty of crispy cauliflower and the smoked pork was flavorful.

Great food options, priced reasonably, service was on point, tasty and fulfilling.

They charged the wrong amount ($75 instead of $21) and said that they've refunded the charge after I questioned them. The two charges still went through and I had to dispute with my credit card company.

It's been too long since I had my last Jian Bing Guo Zi, the traditional savory thin crepe you found in Northern China cities. I came here today specific for my original one. I got say I watch the guy making it, it's pretty legit. Only thing is that it took kinda longer than the ones you may get in China, maybe it's because the stove power is not equivalent. But i do think they can go easy on the sauce though, I love the whole thing except the fact that there is too much sauce, thus, kinda salty.

Just ate dinner here with a couple of friends and found their food quite tasty. We tried the ma po tofu (spicy but tasty), cumin lamb (lamb in Xinjiang spice) and sauteed pea shoot vegetable. The cumin lamb is sauteed in a commonly used spice by the Uyghur people and could be an acquired taste to some. However, this spice removes a lot of the gaminess taste of lamb. The pea shoot was sauteed in slight garlic, tasty and not oily. We also ordered the spicy won ton which probably was the weakest tasting dish out of the four and could use a little improvement. However, all in all, very good tasting dishes. The place is very simple and under-decorated and more like a fast food cafeteria If you don't mind this type of setting, the food is worth trying...

The Hu Tong Jian Bing (Chinese crepe) with roasted duck is quite good. The noodles are good and they have a pretty wide selection of food here.
