Came here once before no issues other than a bit over priced like most Hótel restaurants but today I came down from my room for dinner at 8 PM. There were twenty or so open tables but the hostess told me that I’d have to sit at the bar that there was a waitlist for the tables. I sat at the bar.. and for an hour and a half they funneled everyone to shoulder only room while the twenty tables stayed opened and clean. There obviously was no wait… plenty of wait staff… not cool.
Absolutely amazing restaurant! First off, we were expecting a family style restaurant since there were a lot of kids. However, the food and amazing service exceeded our expectations! Hats off to Ms. Tanya who was extremely helpful and nice! Will definitely come back when visiting SFO!
Decent Hotel quality food, albeit somewhat overpriced (just under $30.00 for a bacon and cheese hamburger from sysco). And beer prices were quite high (which is usual for mid to high end hotels in the US).
service was reasonably fast, but waitstaff were not particularly good or friendly. A gentleman who I assume was the "manager" was not particularly helpful while saying he was sorry over and over again when complaints arose about the restaurant not being able to split checks (it is 2024 afterall).
The Extra "facility fee" is bogus, and built in gratuity for large groups (we were 8) was also not communicated prior to service... nobody is reading the fine print on the back of your menu after a 12 hour travel day.

Way overpriced for the quality of food. Missed order notes and there were flies flying around the restaurant. If this was 50% cheaper my review would be much higher

Just really good food. It is a bit pricey but worth every penny in quality and taste
Parking: Located in a strip mall so parking close is hit or miss.

This is a very nice place to sit down and have a meal and/or a drink. I am 24 years old, but I went to the 2nd biggest party college in Ohio (LOL), and I am here on a 10 day business trip in the Bay Area, and I have to say Mr. Chad N. at the bar here at Grill & Vine, is by miles and miles the best bartender or server I have ever had the pleasure of having. A very kind and considerate individual, and all staff really, especially for such a busy environment. I was very pleased with my experience here.

Ordered a dessert to-go. The receipt I was given only showed the subtotal & tip option. And I tipped for my takeout. When I got back to my room, I’ve realized there must be a hidden fee to my bill. I went back downstairs to ask, only to find out they charge a $2 to-go fee. I wish the waiter who took my order could’ve told me that before running my credit card, as I would’ve simply sat down and enjoy my dessert right there and then if I knew. Manager was not helpful. She kept saying my receipt showed the fee break down (I was not given that receipt initially) & that’s what it is. Overall disappointment on Christmas Eve.
I have been here on business multiple times. As an out of towner, I don’t know of many food options in the area. The menu here is diverse enough so that you don’t have to eat the same ole thing every night. Also Giancarlo is a top notch bartender; basically a mind reader in the drink department. Cheers!

Decent service, but pretty sub-par and overpriced food. If you are in a pinch, a $48 NY steak and $10 bottled beer might have to suffice. As long as you are OK with a cheap diner's version of a barely chewable steak, with canned mashed potatoes and frozen carrots.
