We have recently returned from living for a year in Penang, Malaysia (not too far from Ipoh). I can honestly say this food is just as good if not better than what we found in Penang, which is the food capitol! We loved the references to Penang in the restaurant in the form of cute murals found in Georgetown. We enjoyed the char kuey teow, the green beans with belachan, the roti canai and the curry laksa. It was all delicious and very fresh ingredients. The owner is very nice and we enjoyed chatting with her and sharing stories. We will be back!

I just ordered spring rolls while waiting for family to pick me up for a birthday dinner. I had my debit card only for $10.00 order when woman taking my order points to the sign on back wall stating cash preferred; Five dollars extra if charge or debit card used. I wasn't going to pay $15.00 for 6 veggie spring rolls that cost $10.00. The woman said she will let it slide this time. The spring rolls were probably crisp when I got them, but didn't eat them until next day. Still were tasty thou.

Ordered the Curry Laksa and Chicken Satay. The chicken satay is good as expected. The Laksa Mee is not bad but I do prefer the Singaporean laksa better!

Tasty food and friendly efficient service. Laksa Mee noodle soup has a nice coconut flavor and mix of toppings. Comes with some chicken, tofu, eggplant, and green beans. Char Koay Teow are a wok fired stir fry noodle with shrimp and squid pieces. Excellent charred wok hei flavor. Would definitely get this again. You could see in the back kitchen window a male chef cooking these fresh as people ordered. The wok could really get going! Staff was attentive to keep refilling our water glasses which was appreciated. Portions are fairly filling and an average value set

I've been there for lunch with two friends about a month ago. It's a small simple restaurant by the busy road of El Camino Real , easy to find. Decor is just simple , nothing fancy . Service is ok , and food is ok too, variety is about the same as other Malaysian restaurant. I find this is an ok restaurant deserving 3 stars .

Great food, great service. Recommend the roti canai and the kangkong for everyone, and the Malaysian ice tea if you like milk teas. Food came out quickly and there was no wait to be seated on a Monday night, so great for a delicious quick dinner if you’re in the area.
What a delightful gem! I am here in NorCal for a conference and randomly came upon this cute restaurant. I had the Mee Goreng and Roti Canai. One word: Yummy! This place is a casual restaurant with bright paint and two murals. Restaurant was clean and busy. It seem to be a favorite of locals and I even heard Malay spoken by guests. Highly recommend going to this place!

The basil chicken is super good and filling along with their coconut and chicken flavoured rice. Their service is really friendly and always looking out for you if you need more water or if the food is good. Really just overall 5/5 stars

We had the char kway teow and nasi lemak. Delicious! Service was fast. Would return for my Singaporean food cravings.

Got the Singapore Tofu, which was incredibly oily. It tasted alright, but I could barely get it down without having oil burps.
