Went back to "Little Chengdu," which used to be "Little Sichuan" in San Mateo. Happy they're open again after the pandemic. The new place is smaller but feels cozy. Had a nice surprise when my partner debated a third dish; I remembered their big portions, so I said no. Dishes taste good. They will make it spicy if you ask. They don't really use peppercorns, so some of their dishes are slightly disappointing considering this is a sichuan spot.

The beef was excellent in quality and the flavor was amazing. I don’t know whether this is authentic or not. The dish was spicy but not unappetizing spicy.
