This is the first restaurant I’ve ever encountered in the U.S. that refused entry to a service dog.

Service dogs are protected under the ADA and are not pets. Denying access shows a serious lack of understanding of basic accessibility laws and respect for customers.

I hope management properly trains their staff so this does not happen again.

溜肉段 is sweet and sour, can you imagine that 🤣. Understand it’s adjusted to locals taste, so if you are looking for authentic northeastern Chinese food, look aside

We, two old folks, ordered two dishes. The bean-cold noodle is OK. However, we had to stick with this as the second dish, sweet and sour pork, did not show up until 35 minutes later. We wondered why another table, with six people, came in at least ten minutes later than we did, but already had many dishes on their table. When the second dish finally came in, we finally understood, all three dishes were cooked together and offered for three tables. We were sacrificed.

Hearty portions and delicious. Service was friendly too.

My son has been raving about the Sweet & Sour Fish at the restaurant. So we went there while we were visiting him and his fiancé. The fish were nicely fried, crunchy, coated with the traditional Chinese restaurant sweet and sour source. I thought if the fish were in smaller pieces, it would be better. We also order a few other dishes and they were decent. We ordered the beef tendon and they gave us like 2 lbs of them. Came to find out that it was charged by the pound. They should have asked us how much do we want. That said, at the end of the day, every thing was good and we would go back.

I ordered one noodle dish: Greasy noodles, unrecognizable meat (except for 1 prawn), and very bland flavor. About as disappointing as it gets. And Cash only not helpful.

It's too common. This is my third time to eat. All the dishes taste different. They are sour, and every dish is particularly greasy. I feel uncomfortable when I go home with my friends after eating, and I throw away all the packaged ones. Especially the fried meat section, it tastes terrible. I told the waiter that the taste was wrong, and they kept saying that this dish was like this. I don't remember the taste of what I ate before. What a nuisance! I'll never go again. A dining room that will be uncomfortable to eat, too bad.😞

Wallet friendly place that serves delicious northern style Chinese food. Super big portions. Visited three times in the last two months and all of the dishes we tried were delicious.

Authentic food, even the rice they use is imported from the northeast

The Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork) is abosulutely phenomenal! Its probably the best in the SF Bay Area. The flavor is perfectly balanced, not too sweet. The batter is perfectly fried and crispy, the meat to batter ratio is amazing. Tastes great, can't stop!

Good food options and the server helped us with what to get. I placed an order over the phone and they forgot to give us a plate they told us to go over some other day. We called months after and they recognized us and gave us the food and a free plate.
