I ordered the iced chocolate hazelnut nuttela latte and it's one of the worst drinks I've ever had. It was $7.50 for the smallest size which is not cheap for an iced latte, especially not from a chain bakery. You could not taste any Nutella or coffee, it literally just tasted like chalky milk in a cup with whip cream. I can't tell if it was the barista who didn't make the drink correctly or if it's supposed to taste like nothing. Also, the pastries are all fully exposed at this location with no plastic door or covering to protect it from the dirty air or to keep them fresh. I can only imagine what they taste like at the end of the day. I will not be returning to this location nor ordering any drinks from Paris Baguette in the future.

Love the food but the service is horrible. For a high-end bakery, they should really train the employees better. I went into the store, grabbed a couple pastries, walked up to the counter (no line), one girl was making drinks and another lady was just walking back and forth. Nobody greeted me when I walked in, nobody said anything to me when I walked up to the counter, and I waited there in silence for 4 minutes until the girl was done making drinks. She could've at minimum said hello and to give her a minute, so simple. Then right after I purchased my order, I sat down for 5 minutes and a huge line formed and it took a customer to ask for another person to help check people out for them to get someone else. Also, I ordered a cake on DoorDash, they should add a section for custom writings. I had to call in to ask them to add Happy Birthday. And let's be honest, it's not the best calligraphy for a high-end bakery.

Terrible staff, terrible service, no manager in sight. Kid at cash register speaking on mobile via Air Pods. Staff shooing customers away 30 mins before closing. Absentee owner who doesn't care about customer satisfaction.

We took 2 different donuts from here. Both were custard filled and one had a chocolate on top. The filled custard felt more like cream than a custard. And the sweetness of the filling was too low. Will get the same donuts again as it's not worth it for us. The size of the donuts are large and fluffy and they are expensive. We also took a slice of chocolate cake with macaroons on top. It tasted great.

Daughter really wanted a rainbow cake. She's had this cake before so went to get it. $47.99?!?! For a MAYBE 8" tiny little cake?? Taste was ok but barely enough for small slices for 5 people. Insane. That's the issue. Way overpriced IMO. I thought Nothing Bundt Cake was fairly outrageous charging what they charge for a simple Bundt cake with cream but this takes the cake. Literally.

I used to love this place. On the other hand the manager lady's ultra rude. She needs to learn manners when working with people. The other worker'ls are nice. Not always clean for what you pay.

Paris Baguette is growing on me. A little. Since I don't often eat pastries and sweets I come here for the coffee and a reasonably quiet and clean place to sit. The coffee has improved service is good and the noise level is acceptable. Is it just me or is the music volume at the big chain shop now intolerable? I digress.... Have a sampled the pastries? Yes. The way they are displayed leaves a bit to the imagination but they are okay, only okay. Other details-the furniture is pretty beat up. And the bathroom last time I used it was quite beaten too. I would like to think that improving in these aspects would not be too difficult. This location and the outdoorish veranda is really great.

pastry-wise: lots of flies flying around the uncovered pastries. if you go, just buy the ones that are sealed in the plastic wrap, but even then, they're overpriced! drink-wise: nothing bad to say, the coffee is good!

This is a great place for a morning breakfast pastries and great coffee. The service and the staff are always very friendly, right from 7 am and all the way to the end of the night. But I do have one little issue, or tidbit, not a complaint, but an observation I wanted to bring up. At other bakeries, donut shops and coffee houses, at opening time, they all (for the most part) will have a lot of various items and selections of baked goods available to sell. I've been at PB different times in the morning to see how the selections are, and at least for me, I seem to see the counters filled up with a lot of selections after about 8 to 8:30 am, generlaly. So if I stop here on my way to the office at 7 am to pick up a variety of pastries, I wont have as much of a selection to pick from versus if i come in an hour or so later for more available options. But either way, it is worth the calories.

Come here get some food and organize your own backyard high-tea for 4 people under $100. Other places one pays close to $70 per person

Food and service are great. Knocking down a star since wifi is poor and unusable. You have to sit outside to use the shopping mall public wifi or Safeway instead.

Service is always amazing at this location and the cakes are pretty yummy so I don't mind making the trip from San Francisco to Millbrae. I went to purchase a seasonal red velvet Christmas cake for my sister's birthday (the cake was that cute). When my sister took the first bite, she found a piece of hair embedded into the cake and the cream was covering it. We ended up throwing the whole cake away. I'm quite disappointed at what happened this was my go-to bakery for birthday cakes & baked goods and also my sister had to find hair in her slice of cake on her birthday.

I come to this store almost every week to get pastries, bread and cakes. The cakes were very good but the breads are just ok. I'll give it a 3.5 stars for the most part. This review is for the one incident that I'm extremely upset about. I bought half a loaf of bread along with 5 other items (croissants, pastries) on Thursday (12/7) afternoon. Had one slice on Friday for breakfast and on Saturday, I noticed a mold in the bread. I brought it back to the store. And the lady was giving me a look as if this is normal! She said "but you bought it on Thursday and today is Saturday!" And then she showed me the date stamp at the bottom of the bag "12/7" and educated me that this is the expiration date -- in other words, on the day I buy the bread it already expired. Why are you selling expiring bread on the day?? She said go to Safeway, they sell bread like this. Safeway is a grocery store, you're a bakery. I'd expect fresh bread from a bakery. And if it's day old bread or expired bread, you should put it in a different pile and clearly mark it as "expired or day old bread". They just put "12/7" and assume customers know that means expired on 12/7!! It could mean bake date or pack date. Even Safeway or Costco clearly mark "best before mm/dd" What I'm so pissed at is that there was absolutely no apology. It's like it is my fault I bought expired bread and couldn't finish it before it got molded. She went inside to get her manager out. And again no apology from the manager. Told me they'll replace the bread for me this one time and don't forget to check the date next time. I wanted to say I'll never come back here ever again. But that's unfortunately not likely. Hoping they will have more options here in downtown Millbrae.

I go there a few times a month. One time I saw a bag of small croissants and there was a fly inside the bag. I brought it to the cashier to tell them and I just got alot of eye rolling, no apology and no concern. It's like they were wondering why is this crazy customer making a big deal out of this, just don't buy if you don't want flies in your pastries. It was terrible.
