I came here because I saw the previous reviews on vegetarian accomodation. They were very accommodating but didn't give any heads up that they were going to charge 2 extra bucks for leaving out the meat. I did enjoy the dan dan noodles with bok choy and tofu. The jelly appetizer was alright. It cannot compete with Yuumy Szechuan's spicy japanese grass jelly appetizer.

I am here to especially recommend any cold appetizer with the signature Szechuan chili oil vinaigrette here - theirs is a cut above the avg Szechuan joint. It shows even in the complimentary pickled cabbage they serve every table, which is the best version I've had in the states. A little disappointed this visit. Most of the soup dumplings arrived punctured. Ate several to actually get one with soup inside. There is a reason why they were mentioned in the Michelin Guide in 2016 and 2017 only.
