Dave & Buster's Milpitas - San Jose

This was my first time ever having a birthday dinner party at a restaurant so my experience was very very good. I enjoyed myself. I enjoyed the food. The food was excellent. I enjoy the restaurant. It was nice and clean. Very professional waiter. The games were awesome. I had a blast I would recommend this restaurant Dave & Buster's to anybody that celebrating their birthday or just having a company party or something kids party yeah you will have a good time. Went in last weekend with a group of 10 for a teen's birthday. General manager, Neil and server Tracy, were extremely accommodated and helpful! Tracy was informative and attentive and Neil got us all setup right when we walked in the door. Boys were happy with their seating arrangement, mainly all the TVs to watch football, and the games available to them. Would definitely recommend this location. Thanks team!

The food service experience was very bad. Not enough menus available, not silverware rollups provided and had to ask after food was delivered, the service team seemed very confused and was unable to answer basic questions about the menu offerings. The food itself was acceptable, but the service staff ruined the dining experience. The arcade was good and as was the sports tv viewing throughout the property.

The restaurant service staff is not proactive. We had to find and ask someone to take our orders. Later on, we had to find the person again for follow up orders. We were visiting after a very long time. The receptionist was pretty helpful and explained us the entire process in great detail.

The experience we had was absolutely terrible from start to finish. We booked online, and the problems started the moment we arrived. The waitress was flat-out rude to every one of us. When it came to taking our orders, she couldn't get anything right—especially for the birthday guest, which was completely unacceptable. But what pushed it over the edge was what happened when it was time to pay the bill. Without even knowing we were planning to leave her cash on the table, she had the audacity to say to our sister, “Is that all you're going to give? Thanks for the $$ tip.” That was not only disrespectful—it was insulting and completely unprofessional. Management claimed they would refund our bill, but that doesn't excuse her behavior. We made it clear she should be FIRED. Instead, it feels like they're just covering up her mess yet again—probably the fourth or fifth time. Enough is enough.

What can you expect from finger food, what I am disappointed is that happy hour doesn't include modelo, and the staff at the bars talk to each other a lot and sometimes don't attend the customers in a timely manner. I've been here several times and each time is a different experience sometimes better than others. When I went to eat at the restaurant area, 6 more minutes till happy hour the lady kept coming to tell us what we want to order. I asked about happy hour and she said oh yeah we have it and than asked if I wanted a drink, I got a coors but was still charged full price, she didn't let us know that the happy hour didn't start till 6 minutes we just assumed it would be OK to order since she pushed for it.

This is the message I just sent Dave & Buster's: I brought my family of 4 to your store. Your cheese sticks were cold/undercooked. 1:2 flatbreads were burned. Our table was bused before we were done- you removed 4 of 4 unfinished entrees and drinks. Your server said “I had them clear your table because I'm off and need you to close your bill.” That's insanity. On the game floor, your games took 97 tokens from our cards and the games failed- nobody I asked for a resolution came to address the issue or get us refunded. I'm not sure what you find acceptable but a rough count was 1:10 games were out of order. We were there to celebrate a birthday and this was our experience. We spent $400+ on games, food, and tips in 2 hours. For $200/hr this was the service you provided.

Okay, so had the best date night.
Went on a Friday, they had a DJ.

Management was super accommodating. Husband and I felt like we were kids again, D&B is always has a place in our hearts.

Good venue for bday parties, which we did and host provided great service. We thought food laid out for teenagers for party package was less but we made up it with extra pizzas and they delivered fast. Good arcade - not too special though!

Happy to be back at my old stomping ground. Feel compelled to express how wonderful management, especially Mildred, behaved during my visit. She definitely exemplifies great company values.

we organised a surprise birthday party here. The staff was all in on it. It was amazing. We had a great time. We definitely going to come back and do it again. thaNKS TO THE MANAGER AND THE STAFF . you guys made our night and we had lots of fun

Look out, over half of the arcade machines do not work properly or are damaged. Pointless visit. Was supposed to be arcade, was festival of malfunctions and such
