Man this place was GOOD. I get Indian food a lot and this place is some of the best for South Indian. They were VERY helpful in finding me vegan options when I was turned away from the thali place across the street that said every dish has dairy. I’m so grateful to have found something, and I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area!

We visited idly express about 3 times in our short one week trip to the Bay Area. The food was that good!! Pongal, idli, vada combo was delicious. Chutney was super fresh and even with Togo type meals, sambar was hot and yummy. For lunch, I tried their bisibele bath and curd rice combo, and was surprised by how tasty the bisibele bath was! Authentic like how you get in a restaurant in Bangalore.. gulab jamun was the perfect finish to this meal, it was served hot and very tasty....

I visit this restaurant because of the review,
I thought food quality is good. Taste is good but I was wrong. I ordered 2 podi Idly and 1 -Vada , I am very unsatisfied with the food , there is no taste for Sambhar & chutney . Sorry you’re never going back again.
