Decided to try this place based on reviews from other Koreans. They didn't steer us wrong. The Jajjangmyun is very good, especially considering it's not our go to, Gan Jajjangmyun which is a prepared per order sauce. Chef Yu in Oakland is still our fav but this is up there and ahead of everywhere else between Oakland and here in our opinion. Sauce leans on the slightly sweeter side, just slightly.Tang su yuk was tender, and the coating was great. Nice and crisp but not overly thick like many other places. I hope they can remember that and not deviate years from now. Sauce is thick but not overly gooey like some other places. Could use a little more zip/tang but that's minor and just for my taste, wouldn't stop us from ordering it again and again.Mul naengmyun was good, beef was excellent. Depending on your taste you might find the broth too vinegary and perhaps salty but again, it depends. I usually add vinegar but this didn't need it, might be more than others like to have. They should consider putting less in the base so customers can tailor it to their taste. Otherwise I enjoyed it and want to try the spicy version next time.Bottom line, this is our new go to Korean place if we're anywhere nearby. FYI it's not a BBQ restaurant. Hope to try their wings and soup next time.

We've been here 3 times already and the food here is so good. My husband has been here before when it was under a different management so it took some time to convince him to check it out. This has become one of our favorite Korean restaurants in the South Bay.We've tried a bunch of dishes here and my favorite has been yuk gae jong (spicy beef noodles) with the fresh hand made noodles. The broth is so flavorful and has a great spice to it. The portion is huge and we've taken the leftovers to eat at home.Other dishes we've tried have been the jja-jamg myeon, jjam-ppong, bibim-naengmyeon, the fried chicken (soy & garlic, honey & cheese), and grandma's galbi-jjim. All of these have been so good.It seems like this is a family owned business, which we appreciate and love to support. Everyone here is always nice and friendly. You know you've walked into an authentic Korean restaurant when you hear Korean being spoken among the staff and customers. If you're craving Korean food, definitely stop by here to get your fix!

We found this place through a friend who is from Korea who knows her Korean food! She said they recently changed management and are a lot tastier now. I think I need to get all my Korean food recommendations from her because this place is legit! The galbi tang, tangsuyak (fried pork with sweet sour sauce), and jjim dak (braised chicken -- similar in style to galbi jjim) were all delicious and portions are large. The tangsuyak here is better than Koong's. The half size portion of the jjim dak came in a large platter and we brought home plenty of leftovers. We also ordered a tofu soup for my daughter, who gave it thumbs up, and a jjajangmyeon (black bean sauce noodle), but I didn't get a chance to try it. They also had fried chicken which looked good! Surprisingly the place wasn't crowded; I think it's still a bit under the radar. Service was SO nice and helpful even though our large group had several rowdy and crying kids. They did add an automatic service charge which I understand many places do for large parties. We'd come here again for sure!

The food was delicious and fresh! Even though we had gotten it to go. I had gotten the combo tofu soup. It was very flavorful. My friend had gotten the tteok bokki ! It was delicious! Totally would try this place again. I would love to enjoy the food at the restaurant. So, I shall give another update when I have the chance.

I have been going to this place for a while and it was closed and reopen. really enjoy the restaurant under new management. Despite the price increase I really like their food and service. Side dishes are delicious and also have their unique dishes not just the regular off shelf from other restaurants. Highly recommended to

First time trying Korean garden bistro, using yelp to found any high reviews and this comes up. Got to sit immediately on Tuesday night, ordered the whole order fried chicken with 2 flavors, they charged +1 for each flavor. Tofu soup with beef comes with rice, spicy seafood soup and katsu don with very large portion of fried pork chop, side coleslaw, soup and japchae! They have 9 options side dishes available, and they are so tasty! Can't wait to come back again!

Felt like good home cooking. If you're looking for a fancy and crazy price experience to impress on a date go to that place inside Westfield valley fair mall. If you're looking for a good casual place to eat with your family come here (I've been here twice and it was delicious both times). I liked their kalbitang and beef tofu soup. Both were flavorful. Fried chicken was good too (crunchy outside with flavorful sauce and moist chicken inside). I tried both their sweet mild sauce and soy garlic but I didn't try their spicy sauce (next time I will try their spicy sauce for sure).

Tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) is Delicious. The batter is crispy and the sauce is pineapple juice based I was really looking forward to the jjajangmyeon based on the reviews and was sorely disappointed. It's not terrible, but the sauce is very sweet and is comparable to paiks banjeum in Sunnyvale. The best in the South Bay is probably koong's nearby, but the tangsuyuk here is way better

Broth of tofu pot tastes great. Fried chicken is crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. Love the side dishes!

Stopped here for lunch and got the seafood pancake, beef tofu soup, and a half order of soy garlic fried chicken! Everything tasted amazing and would definitely come back to try more fried chicken flavors. The service was friendly and quick and there are also plenty of tables. They come with a lot of sides, and white rice and egg for the soup.

Good Korean food with Chinese influences. The menu is narrow though they do well with the dishes they offer. Having been to competitor Paik's Noodle a few days before, my opinion is fortunately/unfortunately anchored. Korea Garden Bistro wasn't crowded on a Sunday afternoon (after normal lunch time), whereas Paik's can have long lines to get seated. One reason could be because of price. Korea Bistro was higher and high enough that it influenced what I ordered.
