About Obaitori

Obaitori is a restaurant known for its phenomenal and authentic tsukemen. The seafood and pork bone broth is rich and flavorful, with a unique addition of a house blend of umami-rich dashi/fish powder. The noodles are silky, springy, and perfectly cooked, some of the best in the US. The ajitama is well-flavored and jammy, while the kikirage and kakuni are excellent additions. The lime and arugula added to the tsukemen provide a nice accent and help cut through the richness of the broth. The restaurant also offers a soup stock at the end. Obaitori's tsukemen is highly recommended and reminds one of Japan. The thickness of the noodles is just right. The seafood broth with some other meat is a must-try. It is the best ramen the reviewer has ever had, even compared to that in South Korea. It is recommended to ask for extra broth.
