The sushi here is excellent! The fish is incredibly fresh—firm in texture, never mushy, and with no fishy smell. The rolls are also delicious, perfectly balanced in flavor. I especially recommend the roll with avocado and grilled eel—it’s a must-try

SOOO GOOD!!!

First time here and their fish is FRESH!!!

Got seated quickly for 2 people around 6:30pm on a Wed. They were busy though!

Their Sen Dai special topping rolls 8pcs were big and filling. We devoured the:

- Mizuno roll
- Lemondrop roll
- In the Sea roll

Ordered their vegetable tempura and they came in big pieces and very hot just the way it should be!

We tried the 2 pieces of maguro (nigiri) and it was so good.

Our server was friendly and helped us navigate through their many roll options. Plenty of water refills and they come through taking empty plates off your table.

I think we just found our NEW SUSHI place in the South Bay!!!

Popular place, but there were nothing like edamame/miso soup 'on the house'.
Tables are too close to each other.

Fantastic sushi and a very attentive staff. Having never been to Japan, this is definitely the best sushi I've had outside of San Francisco.

Some of the best sushi around town!

I always get salmon sashimi or sake don here.
Their rolls are great, too.

Food and service were was good, the place was busy and lively but the interior is old and can use a bit of a moden refresh !

Parking: Teriyaki chicken bent box portion was generous, and the chicken was tasty, but i didn't like the special beef sushi roll, which I tasted for the first time !

One of the best sushi places in the bay area! Some of my favorite rolls are: Happy Blossom, Train, Rockstar and Storm Bringer. The quality is consistently excellent and I'm always satisfied. I can't recommend it enough! Just be aware there isn't a ton of parking in the shopping center so plan accordingly.

Parking: Limited parking available but the busiest shop in the complex

Sen Dai accomplished what no other sushi restaurant has: Provided too much sushi for me to eat!! Don’t get me wrong, many restaurants have said “you’ve ordered too much,” but they were wrong.

I placed a delivery order (and so can’t speak to ambiance or service) for around $80, which in my town is less than a usual (big) dinner. It was SO much food! The rolls were enormous, the sushi was gigantic, and the sashimi was doubly large. And it was fresh and presented prettily. (I had leftover sushi for breakfast the next morning, so it didn’t go to waste.)

I was only in San Jose for 9 evenings, and Sen Dai was good enough I ordered it twice.

My second time was half the price of the first…and I *still* couldn’t finish it all!

The message: The food was enormous, fresh, and delicious. I’m a fan

I was so satisfied with its thick and big chunks of sashimi. The sashimi tasted fresh and so delicious. Love it and highly recommended.

Parking: The parking lot might be not big enough for the customers during the peak of the dining hours.
