Really good clay pot rice that not many other places offer. The classic version is the best and make sure to put in the soy sauce that it comes with.

To go containers so although rice does come out crispy, gets soft fast. A little sweet. Instead, I recommend the soups which are very flavorful and have been cooked for a long time.

Order: Self service so need to order at front desk.Payment: Only cash and Venmo option. No credit card.Customer service: almost none. No welcoming.Waiting time: Long cooking time during lunch time even if the restaurant is not full. Basically they need to heat up the rice to have crunchy style so takes long time.Atmosphere/ safety: indoor dining but they use all disposable bowls and utensils. Potential safety concern since they seemed to heat up disposable bowls directly. Also the smoke smell is all over the restaurant. The taste of food is good tho.

Love the rice, really big portions for the meat too. A lot of the 1 star reviews are from before they changed owners so don't believe them they're old.Parking: Lots of parking for the whole plaza

Self-service service, the clay pot rice tastes very good. It would be better if there were more green vegetables.

Ambiance 4 starsFood 2 starsService 0 stars I visited almost 9PM. There was not customers and waitress and waiters were free but nobody provided any services. Food is average but they use cheap paper bowl.

No service at all, staffs are not welcoming at all. Waitress was coughing frequently without a mask on, basically she’s coughing all over the food. Some of the dishes are straight up reheated from the microwave. The whole place is very greasy, the menu is very greasy too.

The Rice House has become a delightful go-to spot for my wife and me when we want a break from cooking. Their clay pot rice and soup are the standout stars on their menu. Admittedly, these dishes may not be the healthiest, as they tend to be a bit on the oily side, characteristic of Chinese cuisine, but they are undeniably packed with flavor and utterly delicious. The convenience of The Rice House as a dining choice on those days when you're not in the mood to prepare a meal at home cannot be overstated. It's become a reliable option for us when we're seeking satisfying comfort food without the fuss. They take calls and get my orders seamlessly. Everything is packed and served in to-go containers - no matter whether you dine-in or not.Furthermore, they're currently running a promotion that offers membership/gift cards at a 34% discount. If you're in the area and find the food to your liking, this deal is definitely worth considering. Overall, I'd recommend giving The Rice House a try, especially if you're looking for tasty and convenient options for a satisfying meal.

!!!CASH ONLY OR VENMO ONLY!!!It quite embarrassed us to download Venmo and pay the bills. And finally we have to Zelle the restaurant.Arrived around 7 PM and it takes a solid half hour before we got the food served. I think they're quite busy with takeout orders. There are roughly 10 tables inside and almost nothing is served. Indeed, I don't think they charged with tips. And it's quite noisy as it's closed to the kitchen.Food is actually tasty and very authentic flavor either the clay pot rice or the chicken with dried mushrooms. Chicken is very good and tender. Many customers are Cantonese speakers 街坊 so you can trust their food quality.I will deduct one star on the service: I think the waitress speaks Cantonese and talk to other customers in Cantonese. Obviously I can understand. But, when we order using Mandarin, she immediately switched to English and left us feeling awkward.
