Hot pan de sal!! Can never go wrong with hot pan de sal. You never leave this place with one or two items. Great pastries! I usually get a few bags of pan de ube for my kids and friends which they always love for a snack. Spanish bread is so good! They've your usual Filipino pastries and desserts. Sometimes we like to pick up some palabok they have. Service is quick and usually, there's always a line but the staff are efficient and get you checked out of there pretty quick. The smell brings you in! Everything is against the walls so the middle area is open and you pick what you want as you wait in line!

It's a very small bakery to go to, but they really serve good bakery items here. My favorites are Pan De Ube and one of the big dinner rolls that look like mushrooms. There is one item I want, but I think that they don't have it and don't even know the name of it. I do know how it looks like. Hopefully when I come back, they have it.

When they first opened, the regular pandesal used to be 14pcs per bag and cost $1.99. They have managed to reduce that to 12pcs and more than doubled the price per bag. Actually, almost everything has more than doubled in price. The place has gotten too pricey.

For all your Filipino bakery needs, Valerio's Tropical Bake Shop is my family's go to. I love how when you walk in, you get a smell of the baked goods. They're all individually wrapped and there are some on display. I love anything Ube (for the culture) and they have ube ensaymada, ube basket, ube pan de sal -- pretty much alllll the things! Notable other baked goods include the line apply cheese cream, siopao, puto, sapin sapin... and many others! They're reasonably priced and well loved by my family!

Freshly baked breads all day. Went it around 4 pm Sunday evening they were still baking fresh bread. It's nice to know even though it was close to closing time. They still have fresh bread being made. Must grab a basket when you enter, because after growing the shelves, you will definitely grab more than 1 thing. Make sure you browse online or come prepared to look quick, it can get quite busy and packed with people get their baked goods. Thankfully we ve been here and already know their TURON! Hands down. Crispy, delicious, & not too sweet. Will return for future family parties just for the turon

I love visiting Valerio's when I visit my hometown. I was excited to find that they have the same bakery in northern California. These are what I purchased during my recent trip: Ube pan de sal - The bread is perfectly moist and fluffy. It is not too sweet and there is plenty of ube flavor. There are a lot of rolls that come in each bag. Ube bread - Each bread roll is filled with ube paste with just the right ratio of both to ensure a bit of ube with every bite. The paste is not overly sweet, which is what I like about this bread. Hopia ube - Ube paste in a light, flaky pastry. There is definitely more Ube than pastry. Again, like the ube bread, the paste was not overly sweet. They had a ton of other baked goods that I haven't tried yet. That just means I'll be back! The shop is clean and organized. They share a parking lot with Seafood City and several other small shops and restaurants, so parking can be a bit tough during peak times.

Desserts always freshly baked. But price is bit higher this time. Hope they should lower it after the holiday to be competitive

It was spoiled when we purchased it. We only noticed it when we got home, and didn't have time to return it back to the bakery. $13 down the drain.

I have to commend this bakeshop for their breads and other delicacies. I seldom come here but it's always worth it. I tried their Puto Bumbong fresh from their kitchen. It's so good - soft, right ingredients with brown sugar and butter on the side. I haven't had this for many years now since I migrated to CA in 2001. Thank you, Valerio's for making my Christmas treat memorable and wanting for more.

I love the food/baked goods here! But the customer service could use some work. Maybe the cashier I had (see receipt for name) was having a bad day... but she was very rude and condescending- a way no customer let alone human should be treated.
