Vung Tau Restaurant surprised me with another mouthwatering delight on their menu - the banh khot. These bite-sized crispy rice pancakes, filled with succulent shrimp and served with fresh herbs and dipping sauce, were a revelation. Love this restaurant so much. The food is always tasting fresh and delicious. I always get their special dry clear noodles which never disappoints. The staff goes over and beyond and makes you feel welcome and like your family. It's sad that they will be closing early next week. There is no other place that makes this type of noodles, if they do then it's a copy.

Would have been four stars except for the undisclosed "SVC" charge that appeared on my receipt that I didn't notice until after I left. I absolutely refuse to participate in this BS. I am on an ongoing crusade stop this practice dead in its tracks and I suggest you do the same. I don't know if this recondite "SVC" entry is to offset credit card fees, pay for "employee wellness," or any other stupid stuff.
