The cooks and staff were ON POINT!!! My first time at this location and my pollo bowl was delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly and the condiments were FRESH. What a pick-me-up during lunch. I'll definitely be back! Caution with the drive-thru...it's VERY narrow!

Choose to eat lunch today at El Pollo Loco Mission VIEJO while I was ordering my lunch, I saw one of the employees could be management, washing his hands, face hair and mouth in the sink at the kitchen and spitting in it. I received my food, went to the table and got sick to my stomach. tried to eat, could not threw my food away. Went to the counter, asked for the manager. The young lady who had helped me said that she was the manager !!!!on the receipt her name states as Isabel. I am just wondering how they are preparing their salsas and food in the back kitchen???

The El Pollo Loco by my house sucks so I was driving through Mission Viejo on the way home and saw this location. Other than having a really funky drive thru that took a minute to find, the service was great, and my chicken was so juicy and delicious. The price of the meal was reasonably priced as well. No complaints here!

LOOK AT THIS BOWL EVERYONE DELICIOUS! great service again nice guys at the window! I've been coming here regularly been loving the fitmenu options like the keto burrito is my favorite but tonight I wanted the sweet corn pollo bowl and they always make the bowls fabulous looking! DELICIOUS!
Burritos are good, Chicken is tasty! Brian who was working the drive thru around 7:30ish this evening had great customer service and our order was all there! Thank you! Their green salsa is awesome! Brian was patient and friendly.

Caution as a loyal customer for 25 years I discover a chocking reality. The princess of the menu is absolutely overcharge according to website page a regular 16 pc combo it will over $50.00 and online is same item to be pick up at the store around $ 37.99 .My point I personally check there prices with others Pollo loco and they have the most expensive prices of others locations

4 stars but I rated 5 cause this location deserves more than the average is letting on at this point. I can't give a 5 star through & through because I've visited this location 30 plus times in the last two years and service isn't always good. I've had onions on bowls which no onions were ordered & pieces of chicken barely counting as a bite of chicken. That said overall experience has been good. Good chicken, good salsa, good service, and good tortillas. We get the meals with flout tortillas, beans & coleslaw. Keto burrito here & there & chicken avocado bowl too. We always eat late & food is good 90%of the time.

I order two meals today at 4:30. I drove home and when we sat down to eat and both dinners the chicken was dried out. I called the manager and he said his chicken wasn't dried out. I explained the time and the ticket number. He said if o wanted to bring half eaten chicken back he would inspect it and then make a decision. I have never heard something so foolish. Food was bad, customer service was worse. Never again.
