I was excited to try the amazing French fries I have heard about. I was thinking $5.99 for the small sounded stupid so I paid $7.79 (8.39) for a cup of fries. I watched them add an extra scoop into the bag, so it was a reasonable amount. I ate them fresh out of the bag and they were hot, but surprisingly soft and not really crispy or flavorful for all the seasoning that appears to be on them. I recently had the chance to try Five Guys, thanks to a birthday gift card from my cousin, and I was excited to see what all the hype was about. Right off the bat, I want to give a heads-up—if you have a peanut allergy, this place may not be for you. They have an abundance of free peanuts available as an appetizer, and the atmosphere is definitely filled with that unmistakable peanut scent.
