Yum!! I hope this place picks up, they have a great space and tacos hit the spot. Wish i had taken before pics. Ordered a chicken and al pastor taco, and the Birria quesatacos special. The birria knocked it out of the park! I ended up ordering an extra asada taco to try, and to finish off the consommé (no waste!). There's plenty of seating and a nice patio area. I liked the bench seats with the curved back, and bathroom was clean.

I highly recommend the mushroom burrito! They opened recently and the food is very good. The food portion is small.

We couldn't wait to try this new restaurant. Tacos were ok as the enchiladas. Skimpy on the rice and beans. But what they did not letting us know was they raised the price on a few chips and guacamole. The sign outside says NOW OPEN. When we informed them they charged us a dollar more they said oh we raised that 2 weeks ago. Not even making a new customer happy by reimbursing the dollar they walked away. I won't be coming back.

The quesobirria (Spelling?) is awesome. Place is good, like an answer to my prayers. Since I’m in this strip mall all the time.

I'm very happy that this place is finally open! I ordered a couple Quesatacos. The asada and carnitas were ok, but the birria was excellent! My wife enjoyed the chicken tacos. They have a great salsa bar, and the chips and guacamole are excellent! Very nice folks, too. I definitely recommend!

I'd give the food a 3.75 if I could. Honestly it's a cheaper alternative to Taco Mesa and a bit more traditional California Mexican food compared to it, but I kinda vibe with the modern twist Taco Mesa has on their food compared to this. And let's not forget "The Taco Stand" that opened up down Alicia, which to me has a superior 5/5 food rating for me. Not a bad place and without the nearby competition I could see myself coming here often.

The birria queso tacos were pretty good, and I'm not sure either of the competitors I mentioned above offer it. It did taste a bit light on the spice for me, perhaps playing towards the mission Viejo taste buds.

Al pastor and carne tacos were okay. Bean burrito was pretty mid, tortilla quality was not up to snuff.

The food is so delicious, I grabbed a Tia Bowl with chicken and it was perfect. The horchata is authentic and sooooo good! Their salsa bar is also fantastic. I can't wait to go back, it was such a great experience. :)

Cool and clean restaurant with very friendly folks working there, with a smile and great attitude. I really like whatever tortillas they use for their burritos. They are soft and delicious and far better than what you buy at the store. The pollo burrito I had was decent but nothing too special in terms of flavor or ingredients (chicken, beans, rice). The chicken seemed high quality but overall the flavor was pretty average except for the above average tortilla. The salsa bar is nice to have - nothing exceptional there either but beats no salsa or “charge for salsa” options of some other Mexican restaurants. The venue is new, clean and has plenty of seating inside and outdoors. They also have a baked potato on the menu which is unique for a Mexican joint. Looking forward to trying that.

Tried this place based on the reviews and was very glad. Favorites were the salsa verde and birria tacos. The salsa bar was well stocked and the inside was clean. The cashier was friendly and helpful. Would definitely go there again.

A nice change of taste with all the local taco places that surround us. A pleasant surprise. Newly opened. Worth the drive to central MV not far from the Lake. I'm not usually a fan of beef but their Quesabirria taco plate - can I just say WoW! The Carnitas plate is also delicious. Looking forward to coming back to try the Mercado salad and possibly for breakfast the Chilaquiles. I was tempted to not share my review to avoid this establishment getting too busy. But then thought... get the word out & support small business. We need better than good tacos ? ?
