The Baklava

Just give appreciation to those who deserve it🌷

We were on our way to have lunch at a food court spot here when we saw The Baklava and thought we might give it a try after lunch. After lunch, I honestly thought we were just going to look and not buy anything, but the gentleman working here was so helpful and friendly that we just had to buy a few items. I imagine he was probably the owner; he definitely had owner vibes. He was very knowledgeable about other locations around Orange County and Santa Barbara that serve baklava. We actually ended up getting Turkish coffee, which I now recall having tried at a very well-known Santa Barbara spot and hating. Well, the Turkish coffee here has made me a believer. My girlfriend and I are definitely coming back for more baklava and Turkish coffee.

As far as the baklava itself, I would say the standard baklava was very similar to a place we used to go to where we know they brought in homemade baklava. We also tried the chocolate baklava, and wow! That was definitely my favorite. I can't wait to come back again.

My friend and I came into this shop and the staff was so friendly and they had such delicious desserts and tea! My favorite was the Chocolate Pistachio Hazelnut. The staff was so kind and gave great recommendations! I would absolutely come back here to enjoy a treat!

I was in the area and saw this cafe has really good reviews and decided to try. It’s located on the first floor inside of the mall! It took me a while to locate it!!! Try their Turkish dessert! It’s really pleasant :) super friendly staff as well.

The best Turkish coffee! delicious desserts, newfangled Dubai chocolate, baklava is delicious and fresh ever, and very nice people work here! I highly recommend!

You should put everything on what you have in the menu on the app you only have a few items on the app so we can order more like the delight you have a lot of choices and you don’t have it on the app or just put a few delights on the app

Don't overlook this place. Authentic Turkish coffee, teas, lokum. My parents turned me on to this place as they raved about lokum after traveling to Turkey and sought out these delicacies close to home. Every time I'm in town my mom has a box at home; such a treat.

I’ve been wanting to try the food at The Baklava and I finally did today. I had their walnut baklava, cafe latte, and Turkish cheese bun. I loved their walnut baklava and cafe latte. The cheese pastry was decent but I like more cheese. The service was impeccable. Remi was very kind and respectful. I will definitely come again ?
