Great breakfast. Perfectly cooked, good portions, great coffee, all at a very reasonable price. I got the Crispy Apple Pancakes with eggs, sausage and hash broowns and coffee. All the staff were so happy making it a fun atmosphere.

This is my mom and I'm place to go when we want a good meal at a reasonable price. Now it being on McHenry Boulevard you can imagine the company it has sometimes... other than that. They have good food and the servers are always very friendly. This is better than the other Dennys! Dont go to the other one, this is the best one.

We waited 15 minutes to order our food. Then another 30 minutes to get the food and when the food came it looked like it was sitting under the heater. What a waste of food and time. Will not be coming back!

Service is slow sometimes due to lack of enough staff...food portions seem small for the price
I ordered the sanra fe skillet and it was so hot with pepper. I immediately told the manager. He said that it was the chorizo in the skillet. So I tried to eat it. I just couldn't. I was literally sweating and I can taste white pepper. I tasted the chorizo by itself and it spicy but manageable. There was white pepper sprinkled on the whole skillet. And not to mention the other manager was rude.

Unfortunately, we saw some customers leaving because that day there were only 2 waitresses on duty and some people didn't have patience to wait. Me and my daughter and I were lucky to step into the restaurant 5 minutes before those people. After all, good food, good attention, good atmosphere.
