Oh this roaster is Soo good. I'm super picky about my coffee and this hits the spot. I grew up in San Jose where my favorite roasters are and I've been looking for a year since I moved to Modesto. Tried every place in Modesto and nothing compares to Milone. Soooo good. The jumping monkey is smooth and bright with flavor. It hits the palate gently and the taste permeates the tongue. Rich complex flavors roasted to a T. So Good.
Went there on a Monday evening and what a surprise I got! It's a home converted into a coffeehouse with outside deck, comfy sofas, front porch, plenty of sitting areas. I understand they have live bands and open mike nights. That would be fabulous to attend. There is a light menu of beverages, hot and cold; plenty to choose from.
