I have been coming to Mr Pickles since they opened, my son, now 16 has been coming here his entire life, I am concerned that there total switch to on line and no more call ins might force me to choose another option moving forward, the fact that when I called in they told me I had to order on line and then COULDN’T TELL ME THE WEBSITE NAME was concerning.The website itself is clunky and has major errors, including not being listed as an option when you search for it so you are first taken to 3rd party sites that are all $15+ dollars for sandwiches that are listed on the site as $11.99… it leads to bad brand recognition and a very poor customer experience. Not to mention on my FIFTH TIME of having to enter my information it added a tip automatically and considering the DUMPSTER FIRE customer service experience I had, that is $4.77 I DID NOT plan on paying.Please let me know when you’ve made this better so I can come back for our families fav sandwiches… until then, I’ll go to Save Mart where I can still call in my order without issue.

Yesterday I ordered a veggie pestoli sandwich to go. When I got to my location I realized my sandwich was mostly bread. I did ask for very basic topping - avocado, cucumber, pickles, lettuce and tomato. But this is just sad...

I spent 30-45 minutes trying to place an order online because they don't take orders by phone (only online or in person). All fields were completed online, but I kept getting errors to enter my name, which I did 6 times, and the order would not go through. I called back, and the young man told me to "just keep trying because he was not computer savvy and they had a line out the door" I asked if, in this case, they could take an order by phone, but his manager said no. They just lost a customer. I would give 0 stars if I could. They expect people who take a 30-minute lunch to drive over there, place an order, wait for the order, and return to work on time?

Do not go here!Although the food is good, I had a coupon and they would not honor it. They said the coupon was only good at the Pelandale location. I am not happy about that. There are more sandwich shops in the area. The reason we went to Pickles is that we had a coupon.We will not be back.

For Mr Pickles as a brand - 5 stars. Menu is excellent, it's one of my favorite things about Modesto.For this specific location - 1 star or 2, max. Some issues:- the plexiglass from Covid had been removed and left dangerously jutting out. I scratched myself accidentally at checkout and drew blood. Told the associate in a nice way, he said owner had tried to remove it but left a jagged edge poking out. I get it, not his job. But kind of shocking in this day and age of litigiousness.- the bread at this specific location is ALWAYS stale. Very strange given the Pelandale location is always amazing.- no real dine in options- no fountain or water options- staff is ok, but not nearly as friendly as Pelandale. Those folks are great. Just leaving this review in the hopes it can help spur actual change, bc Mr Pickles as an overall franchise is fantastic. So much wasted potential at this location.

I liked the sandwich I got last time and was looking forward to getting another one on my way home today after the gym. Unfortunately they decided to close 23 mins early...and trust me i worked retail and I know they have clean up and all that but we were NEVER allowed to close even 5 mins early no matter how busy or slow it was. I would understand 5 mins but 20+ mins early isn't cool.

I can’t wrap my head around paying almost $30 for two large Italian subs only to get two subs with 3 pickles each, 2 tomato’s each and a fraction of onions, with no Italian seasoning or dressing. The consistency of their sandwich making is sub par. If you can’t even train your staff to make a quality product I can’t recommend or support your business. If you are telling me that your policy is 2 tomatoes and 3 small pickles per Large sub at $15.00. I can support you, your staff, or your business anymore! I don’t recommend this business.
