Ohana Seafood in Modesto has real fresh, excellent selection, fish and seafood. It is as good, or better than driving all the way 100 miles to the coast to get great seafood! We have enjoyed salmon, halibut, mahi mahi, opah, sea bass, swordfish, tuna, 4 kinds of oysters, clams, mussels, and crab. We have also enjoyed their fresh house made sushi and teriyaki halibut skewers. Everything has been delicious.

What a great late lunch today. Ahi tuna from a new source in Modesto, Ohana Seafood. John Mensonides owner, buys only the freshest and sustainable seafood available. Paired with a 2021 Albamar Sauvignon Blanc from the Casablanca Valley in Chile. A pale but vibrant golden hue. On the nose and palate green snow peas, lime and soft peach aromas and flavors. A great pairing with Ahi sushimi.

Ohana Seafood offers exceptional seafood experiences in a setting that resembles a large warehouse, which may surprise some visitors but does not detract from the quality. The restaurant specializes in fresh, high-quality products such as King Crab legs, Tiger Prawns, and Ora King Salmon Fillets. The staff is knowledgeable and eager to share cooking tips, helping customers prepare their seafood in various ways, including sushi and poke bowls. The grilled New Zealand king salmon is a popular choice, and the seafood is described as very fresh and flavorful. Visitors can enjoy the outdoor seating for an island-style experience, and the quick service adds to its appeal. The restaurant's commitment to providing all types of seafood makes it a reliable spot for seafood lovers in the central valley.
