I enjoyed this place for Monday night NFL game. Smithwicks beer was really exceptional for a well rounded beer. It has a leading full flavor with very slight hoppy finish. Nothing at all like IPA hops just enough to know it’s a beer. Fish and chips were ok. I don’t like the heavy batter. They are big pieces but 50-60% batter. It is cod so I liked it after leaving behind a lot of fried batter. It does have good flavor so I did leave some batter on it. Still there was a lot left over. Service was great.

Had a great time visiting in Modesto, (we were from Ripon before we left for Arizona). The two piece Fish & Chips was a bit pricey, lol, so decided to have the 3 piece [see menu]. Great service and lots of tap handles on the ceiling!

Now this place has been a staple of good fish and chips as well as other food here for many years and is noted for their establishment. This is another fine establishment missed is moving out of state approx 7 years ago. Again come here and support a local ran business as the money spent here turns over 7 times in the local economy and is noted for their shipped out of state to the chains of stores.

When we come to eat and hang we always feel like Family. Food is great, drinks are delicious and it's a great Atmosphere.
We were disappointed as we have always really enjoyed P Wexfords in the past. The Welsh Rarebit was so bland, and my entre was over cooked and dry. We are really hoping this was a one off, and not the new norm

My family of four have been to Wexford’s a few times. Every other time we have been, the staff was friendly and the establishment atmosphere was welcoming. Tonight we went to have a late dinner. The restaurant closes at 10pm and we arrived at 8pm. When we walked into the restaurant we were immediately met by two unwelcoming young ladies. They gave us the “Uughh” look. And we were told we could not sit in a booth but had to sit in the bar area on higher tables with two kids. We figured it out and sat down. We waited for someone to come greet us or offer us a menu, maybe something to drink. But nothing! One of the waitresses went over to the bar and sat down. The other just disappeared. It was hot inside the restaurant and there was an unpleasant smell where we sat. We decided to leave because we felt uncomfortable and unwanted. My children under 10 even noticed it and were very disappointed because we have always had a good experience there. I will definitely contact management and let them know.
