I went there today on 11-28-25 @ about 11:45 am. I had the chicken caesar salad, with a raspberry sweet tea, and a glass of water. The waitress who served me was kind. She informed me about the parking to prevent my car from getting towed, when I asked. I'll be back again later to try the rest of the menu, with friends

Prices are through the roof now. I got the Clam chowder bread bowl that I always get. When it came out it’s in a new bread they make home made the server said. Was soft and not toasted and the soup was like a cream of potato big pieces of potato’s and big chunks of carrots and no clams It was a huge disappointment. I won’t be back. Definitely smaller portions with an added cost.

Traditional Irish pub type experience with me going for the restaurant part.. The food here is delicious but a little pricey for lunch. Still this is a great place to eat. Highly recommended.
One of our long standing Modesto go-to locations for pub fare and beers. The staff are great and I love the atmosphere - often have live music, which is fun.

Local restaurant featuring amazing food. If you're looking to watch a sport, there are many tv's around the room. My friend had the clam chowder and loved it. I went with the cobb salad, it was loaded. Next time, I'm trying the bangers and mash.

I enjoyed this place for Monday night NFL game. Smithwicks beer was really exceptional for a well rounded beer. It has a leading full flavor with very slight hoppy finish. Nothing at all like IPA hops just enough to know it’s a beer. Fish and chips were ok. I don’t like the heavy batter. They are big pieces but 50-60% batter. It is cod so I liked it after leaving behind a lot of fried batter. It does have good flavor so I did leave some batter on it. Still there was a lot left over. Service was great.
