Very good overall. The food was very tasty and the portions were large. The only negative was a large party that was seated behind our table who were very loud making it difficult to have a conversation. I would recommend for dinner.

Food is very overpriced to come out as full, dry, and plain as it does. Shrimps in our appetizer were overcooked so bad that we couldn't even eat them due to the skins sticking to them so bad. Everything we ate needed seasoning!! Literally everything! Salt can only go so far. Servers are nice enough. Definitely love the way the restaurant looks and the environment here but the food is quite subpar. Charging too much for poor quality food.

I recently visited Skewers to savor the delightful flavors of Middle Eastern cuisine, which I consider a true treasure. While the dishes were delicious and aimed for authenticity, I found them not as spicy as I had hoped. Nevertheless, the meat was well-seasoned, and I longed for the presence of Bolani and Mantu. The Hummus and rice, however, were absolutely delightful.

Authentic and good kebabs. Modesto is not known for its enthralling food scene, but skewers was a really good kabob house that I had the pleasure to go to. I had the chicken saffron. Super juicy chicken, soft and yummy rice, and yummy vegetables. The Hummus was solid and lavash was just ok.

Great place to eat meat? Easy parking. Great basmati rice, loved the eggplant. Everything was cooked just perfect. And I especially liked the server who was so polite and friendly. With absolutely no expectations we had such a nice time. We will definitely be coming back to this place.

First timer here. Place and ambiance inside look very welcoming and some what more upscale. Service was very good, it could be great. Food came out within 10mins or so. Food and appetizer was ?. Not kidding I was very impressed with all of our entrées. Will come again forsure. Can't wait.

My husband and I went for a quick dinner last Monday. We Weren't too hungry and didn't want to order platters of food. So we decided to get something from the alacarte menu. The waitress was very accommodating indeed. We ended up with one Turkish coffee and their Old Fashion cocktail for drinks and Greek salad with salmon skewers! Was more than enough for us. Didn't feel overloaded with food. Thank you Skewers Kabob House for doing a great job to keep us coming back!!

If you haven’t yet, go to Skewers. Excellent Mediterranean food. Spicy meats, exciting flavors, fantastic rice. I go for the rice. A little pricy, but highly worth it.
Yvette was the best. She was attentive and sweet. She also made sure to laugh with us, and asked if our group would like to take a photo… which is a memory I’ll always have now!! Honestly she was great. Food was also awesome.
