The Bayou Bar and Grill

Really awesome place. Being from Louisiana myself I found it to be very authentic, great atmosphere and food was delicious. I will be a repeat customer for life. Wanting on Covid-19 to lift - ready to go back and eat some frog legs and gator ? bites.

I've been here mamy times ... most meals have been great. Specialty cocktails are well crafted, and they have a rotating selection of on-tap beers including Louisiana's Abita (Turbo Dog is a favorite). The food is usually great, ranging from oyster po'boys stuffed with juicy oysters to well-balanced shrimp etouffee. The best place we have eaten at in Modesto, hands down. This is my second time here and it did not disappoint. Mike is the nicest guy ever and super helpful. We have gone down the menu and sampled quite a bit. Nothing was to be second guessed. The wings and all sauces are outstanding!!!! The ribs... well, come hungry. The Nashville chicken? Hell yes!
