I've only had the beer and cider and their choices are awesome! Maybe next time I'll grab a bite to eat. The last time we stopped in was just to grocery shop after sushi so we weren't hungry but I guess we were thirsty We grabbed a couple brews and watched the game. Staff are super friendly and informative. Can't wait to stop in again to try more adult beverages.

I love the shift they know my order -and I love the welcome every time-I can go grocery shopping put my order in come back and my order is ready. Enjoy some private time by myself or the family member and I love it is enjoyable I see them every Tuesday evening and Thursday cause I'm off on Thursdays it's a wonderful thing. I love watching them make my food fresh.

For $16 a pound the Tri tip better be cooked perfectly. This was not, barely even pink this time.

The flavor of my food was delicious, it would've been a five-star, except my chicken was very dry.

Went in for lunch with the wife. Had a pint of beer from a local brewery, an amazing smoked Tritip burrito and a flight of beer for the wife. All for under $30. As we waited at the counter area the staff was friendly and helpful. Informing us of the crowd favorites. Plus I've always wanted a beer in the grocery store.

The Food here is good but I Wouldn't say amazing. Price is reasonable. Kind of bland and dry.

Love this place. The food and portions are always really consistent. The wait is never long either we shop at this save mart a lot so we will get food here on our way in, grab our groceries & then get our food on the way out. The workers are so nice and friendly too The outside area is the best but overall it's a really delicious spot to eat

Very disappointed. Not sure if it's the new corporate ownership of Save Mart or what but they've taken what was once a great family meal and made it into a meal for maybe three people while jacking the price up 50%. They had a wonderful tri tip dinner we bought since it opened that was $40. We could feed all six of my family and have leftovers.on this, so it became our weekend treat. For that $40 you received a full container of flame roasted carrots and broccoli, a full container of mashed potatoes and two pounds of tri tip. Now they charge $60 and you get half as much food. I have a food scale so before we dished up I weighed everything. The mashed potatoes container was less than 12 oz., the tri tip only weighed a little over a pound and our grilled veggies included three pieces of broccoli and about six or seven cut carrots. By the time three of my kids had dished up this time there was barely any mashed potatoes left, none of the vegetables, and my wife and I were left with only a few scraps of tri tip. I'm very disappointed in what was once a great meal at a great price.

Great people working behind the counters! Love the outside patio area and the food is SO good, especially the quesadillas! Their wine is also very good and not cheap tasting for a great price!

Surprisingly good tri tip. Cooked the way it's supposed to be. Really good portions and quality to boot. The food here is a thumbs up

Ridiculous service. One worker doing it all. Been waiting 15 minutes so far and still 2 away.

You wouldn't think a BBQ place inside a Save Mart would deliver anything special and boy would you be wrong! We found this place while in Modesto for a soccer tournament with a few hours between games. The reviews were great and it was close by so we decided to give it a shot. The chicken salad I had was bomb - period. The smoked chicken was super flavorful and the star of the meal. The lettuce is grilled and served warm which is a little different than I'd ever experienced before but somehow it worked. They do make it with cold lettuce if you ask for it as well. My husband had the tri tip sandwich and it looked very filling. He gave it a thumbs up which is rare since he usually finds something to complain about when it comes to BBQ. The menu selection had several other options that I'm looking forward to trying on our next trip to Modesto.
