I remember back when the Tiki was a cool place to hang out and listen to a mostly decent DJ's setlist and dance with affordable drinks. Those days are long since past. This place isn't even retro hip anymore, it's just plain gross. Thank goodness it's so dark inside, you almost can't see how badly it needs a facelift. Most Exelante as Always. This Place Tiki s has a facility that is clean and comfortable at the price. That is equal w the Competition of other Motels in MODESTO. There is a adjoining public Social Watering Hole(BAR) next door. Very good atmosphere w/a Beer garden. Well Managed Place also. The staff is friendly and kind and runs their buissness very professionally as I have been a visitor and neighbor for 2 years.

Have been a patron for 20+ years and seen it go through many changes. Decided to go Friday night and was pleasantly surprised. It was clean, freshly remodeled bathrooms, great dj and sound system and attentive staff. Great upgrades to a Modesto staple.
