Angie's Place is a fantastic restaurant in Mokelumne Hill, known for its amazing and delicious homemade food. It is a beautiful, clean, and adorable spot, popular for breakfast and brunch. The food is outstanding, fresh, and made from scratch, with huge proportions where one plate can often feed two. Guests love the chicken fried steak, which covers the whole plate and is incredibly tender. Other favorites include the best hashbrowns, fluffy and crispy waffles, a delicious veggie omelet, excellent banana nut bread French toast, hand-breaded chicken and waffles, massive homemade biscuits, and carrot cake. The Clam Chowder is also delicious. They offer two different kinds of coffee, with a particularly good French roast.
The service is excellent, fast, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making guests feel like family even during busy times. The entire staff is fantastic and personable. The owner shows great pride in the restaurant and is happy to accommodate large groups with a call ahead. With fantastic prices for the high quality and amount of food, Angie's Place is a true gem and a highly recommended favorite spot for a meal.
