Attempted to come here several times during hours that are posted open, they have been closed every time. An unfortunate waste of a drive, obviously poor management.

Very tasty food, very friendly staff, gave us free wine tastings, beautiful surroundings, we asked them to tell us the history of the place around and chatted! I would definitely come here again👍

We had such fun dancing Friday night! It is an older crowd, but they love to dance. Dog friendly spot. Humble wines, generous pours, we enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer, fried chicken, and cheesecake dessert.

The atmosphere on a Sunday morning was chill and so relaxing. They were steadily busy. We did some wine tasting. The effusive owner gave us 5 wines to taste, of which 2 were theirs. They stopped making wine during Covid and turned the place into a full-scale restaurant and bar. This is a cool place. The wine featured good local varietals.

Absolutely loved our visit! The winery has a beautiful setting, but what really stood out was the food — every dish was thoughtfully prepared and packed with flavor. You can tell they use high-quality, fresh ingredients, and the presentation was top-notch. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and a perfect balance of rustic charm and elegance. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates good food and great wine.

Besides the food and the drinks being excellent the owners and the staff are the most friendly pleasant people to be around. And you can also meet very interesting people who patronize their restaurant. I highly recommend it

First timers. Great food, good wine. And if you like California gold rush history walk a couple blocks of Mokelumne Main Street. Really nice old buildings.

From the moment my daughter and I step inside, the owners and staff envelop you with a warmth that makes you feel instantly like family. Beyond the welcoming service, the food is good, and the wine is lovely.A big thank you to everyone, especially the owners, for making our first visit extra special.

My first time to write a review for this fine place. The food is top notch, the service is AWESOME and they have live music almost all three days they are open. Their wines are so good and the owner/wine maker makes pretty much the best port and other various kinds of wine. Small town with big taste, portions and service.

The Renegade Winery has friendly staff, very laid back vibe, and made the perfect scenic lunch stop.Located off the main road halfway between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite, this entire town takes you to the old west. Apparently Mokelumne Hill was a central gold mining town, so when you see it remember this is the real thing, not a Hollywood studio set.

Such a cool place!! People are so awesome and friendly! Came while visiting family. Love it! Good food and fun atmosphere. Have live bands play as well. If in the area around dinner time, swing by!
