It's always a blast to come here for breakfast or lunch. And the food is always top shelf.
We had tri tip sandwiches. Excellent. The onion rings were soggy. We got the order to go. Will be back. Family friendly and family run. Good place. Previously had the spare ribs. Good dry rub and nice nice smoke ring.
8 pm Friday night. Beef ribs were good and unique. Babyback rack was dried as someone had mentioned; perhaps it was the end of the night (but that shouldn't be the excuse). Waitress just disappeared once she served the food, and not even come for the check. Would I come back? Unlikely. Perhaps the standard is low in this area; and this place give me good reason to try other surrounding restaurants.
Large delicious portions
Wow ordered the full size beef ribs with double salad sides and Wow just amazing!!! So big and meaty. 7 bones.
I will be back. Took three bones home. Could not finish. Next time no sauce as I’m Keto. But very very tasty!
Was craving BBQ and Jake's is closest. Food was disappointing. Chicken was Luke warm and it tasted day old, as did the ribs. Food all tasted extremely reheated but with tasty bbq sauce. Beans were not what I expected so we didn't eat them. Baked potato was best on the plate.

I ordered this just so I could say 'pulled pork with pickles' to the waitress. I got to say it twice legitimately which was almost as good as the sandwich. And remember I don't do food

This place was recommended to us by some of my mom’s coworkers. We came in hungry and excited for some barbecue! However, the food quality left us both feeling a bit disappointed. I ordered the tri tip dinner with mixed veggies and mac & cheese. The tri tip was just thin, grilled pieces of beef with a sweet bbq sauce slathered on. The mixed veggies reminded me a lot of the frozen veggies I buy from the store (it was a mix of broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots), and the mac & cheese tasted like it came from a chain buffet. The dinner also came with a blueberry cornbread muffin that was a bit dry.
My boyfriend ordered the baby back ribs and made the same comment about it seeming store-bought, which surprised me as I hadn’t even mentioned my own opinions yet.
The service was good, though. Our waitress was very friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. As far as atmosphere goes, there was a Dodgers game being shown on the TV, and someone sitting nearby us kept shouting while everyone else seemed to just want to eat and talk with their family/friends, so it was a bit disruptive.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Even if Jake’s Roadhouse doesn’t serve any frozen or store-bought items, the fact that it tastes like they do is already enough to dissuade me from returning here.
